    I managed to change all the beds (except LO as she was still asleep) before 8am. I also quickly mopped the kitchen floor before taking the children to school.

    The rest of the cleaning today is going to be a general tidy up and dust. I'm not going to do DD1's room though. The number of times I've tidied it all up and had promises that it would be kept that way are uncountable! All I do now is go up and pick up her dirty clothes every morning because they can't seem to find their way to the wash basket:rolleyes:. I also put her clean clothes away. I do put them on her stairs for her to take up with her, but they become mysteriously invisible when she walks past them :rotfl:. If I put them in her room for her to put away they stay there for days, and days, and days, and days, and . . . . .. . you get the picture:rolleyes:

    I'm sat here getting myself all worked up/stressed out, having less than 3 weeks to do the next 2 assignments, wish I'd looked before getting the extension on the other, I know I can ask for more time but then like now it just pushes more together. I am looking around me (I'm having breakfast and coffee so not exactly doing nothing) I spent 30 minutes tidying up in this room and it looks no better, everywhere else is messy aswell, I'm just overwhelmed a little I think. I think I need to talk to DP and get some help from him when it comes to the house, but if he does anything or not is another matter.

    Anyway enough moaning, today I'm going to go throught the assignments, work out what needs to be done and which books I need to concentrate on (which I hate doing but sometimes it's the only way!) then work out some kind of schedule for the studying, fitting appointments etc in aswell, I think without seeing 'ok this is where I can fit in **, ** and **' I'm going to continue to panic, ok it might look even more chaotic on paper :rotfl: but some sort of plan might relax me a little, I like lists. I do need to fit in when to do housework aswell. DPs been on about getting the boys to do their rooms tomorrow again, making his usual 'if you don't I'll bin the lot' threats which he never follows through and the boys realistically speaking don't have much of a clue of what that would involve, I think I need to speak to him today about his approach to it and if he's going to actually follow through this time and help them. As he's doing that with them I am not going to touch their rooms today, but of course I realise that tomorrow I will get their sheets washed and when I remake the beds they probably won't have even touched their rooms as he'll have spent the whole day slobbed on the sofa on the laptop again ranting at them, which doesn't resolve anything.

    Right enough talking about it, time to get some kind of action plan together! Wish me luck!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    and a big thankyou to the lovely person who spotted the Grand National Betfair thing. The £50 was paid to my Quidco account today, on top of what i won at the time. I wouldn't have spotted it without you - I think it was Mudbath or G n B - but I may be wrong.

    I think it was GnB - mine hasn't tracked (boo hoo) but they're on to it apparently!

    Lil-me - your two are the same as mine then, ds is in year 2 and dd is in year 4. We only had one school left in this area that has the separate sites but it's merging into one school in September I think.

    I'm helping out setting up the school fair from 1 till 8. I really need to do some tidying here. I'm just going to do what really needs doing and post what i've done. So far;

    - collared a skip man for the two pallets on the top of a skip he was taking away
    - walked dog
    - collected cakes from children at school for school fair
    - washing load
    - sort out dry clothes
    - tidied up 10 things.

    Right i'm going to go and tidy up 100 things x 10! How bad is it that I know there's that much to tidy up. Then again, 1000 things? Surely not :rotfl: xx
