Could you tell me who this is please so if I work for them I can kick up a stink when I don't get served in time.

    Ta

I'll PM you, as it might be breaking confid to put it on here (venues sometimes know the company who MSs them, so it would be useful for a staff member to know whether their MSer is instructed to fuss or not!)

You will get 2 PMs - 1 today, from my (admittedly carp) memory, and another when I next download a set of instructions which say this.
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

I think that anything that dispels the idea that msers are easy-come-easy go is a good thing. I also believe that if anyone of us sets the standards for what we are worth then others (companies) tend to respond in kind. I know one way is to refuse rubbish jobs but I would be up for seeing if the industry can be changed somehow...

I know lots of people will say it can't be done but then that is always said about every new venture....(not going to give you corny examples like the Wright brothers...oops, I just did...):p

Oh my goodness what a palava!!! Did my first (and possibly last) recorded call :( Got cut off then waited almost 10 mins for an answer - hmmm eats away into any profit that does. Then Firefox didn't work so well downloading the call and only played the first minute or 2 almost giving me a heart attack! I then tried downloading it using Safari and phew, that worked fine. But by the time I'd done the questionnaire and listened to the call several times it really didn't seem worth it.

Is it just me or was this just a bad experience? I'm off to recover now :)

No, I did a totally rubbish call yesterday too. Not worth the time and effort due to monster technical difficulties...won't be doing any more of those...

I'm glad it isn't just me. Nothing like doing a normal non-recorded call is it?

Rather glad I've got a 'normal' bank job tomorrow. Event that report will get done quicker than the one today..........

Some good news though - finally got an assignment from Bare!

I think it sounds like an interesting idea.

RoxyK - I'm not keen on recorded calls either. Keep an eye on your telephone bill charges as sometimes the cost of the call eats up most of the fee :(
Here I go again on my own....
