I've just sold DP. I know he is going to a loving home and will be very well looked after but jeez it hurts like hell!!!

He has been my constant companion for 3 1/2 years, he was the one person that was there for me through my year of depression and absolute hell, always there with cuddles and cheekiness to make me laugh.

I have looked at other options for him, such as keeping him and finding a rider for him, moving his field etc etc but i knew deep down that I had to do the best for him and knew what he needed and that was to let him go.

They are coming to pick him up this afternoon and i've got to go up there and see him go.

So sitting on the sofa in floods right now and feel like my heart is snapping in two. Anyway, sorry for the sad moan but i knewi could letr it out here.

oh heck MF i'm off again!!!! going to overflow my bath at this rate with all the tears!!!! thanks hon, thats such a lovely way of putting it. if i meant half as much to him as he did to me then the last 4 years would've been fully worth while.

Ah, but is a sofa on SW.......

I am ok - the roller coaster that is our life continues.....onwards and sort of upwards, downwards, round the twist a bit.....:rotfl:

Sorry you're sad to lose your DP... It shows just how much you love him as you have done this for his benefit not yours so no wonder you are hurting... Maybe when you are up to it you could put all your pics of him on a digital photo frame so you can keep all your memories together and around on a daily basis?

thats a great idea KM. all the ohotos of him that i have are on my mobile so will need to get the memory card uploaded to do it. a really nice idea though. if i could get blinkin photo bucket to work i'd pop one on here of him.
