B&Q Kitchen Cupboard doors £1 online

5 days and no call. I rang them up and I was given a new delivery date of 28 October. I won't hold my breath....

Well, what can I say.
Just received a call from B&Q. My doors were due for delivery on 5.11.08. Fine. However, they have told me that my order has now been cancelled as they can't honour it. They will recredit my Credit Card and also send me £35 in B&Q Gift Vouchers for the inconvenience.

CGG ~ I got a call too saying that my doors are now being delivered in January grrr. Which doors were you buying? Please tell me it wasn't the sage green ones...:(

Yes, I'm afraid it was the Sage Green ones.
I received B&Q's phone call on Friday (17.10.08). I haven't had todays post yet to be able to report that my £35 of B&Q vouchers have arrived.
Will post back when (hopefully, not 'if') these show.

I was out when my postman called. He left a card for a Recorded Delivery letter that needs signing for.
I guess this was possibly the £35 B&Q vouchers, as there's nothing else I'm expecting to receive in the mail.
It's being redelivered to me tomorrow, so shall update you then.

i ordered 8x 500mm maple doors on 01.07.08 and recieved yday 20.10.08. not bad as i was told that there was no guarantee of b and q being able to fulfill the order.

That's interesting, they never told me that there was a chance I may not get my doors. They said my order would definitely be honoured, if only a little late
I did get the first lot in July, it's the second lot I am expecting next, I am hoping that because of that I will get it in the end.

Postman's just been. My RD letter was, indeed, from B&Q.
It contained the £35 B&Q Gift Vouchers, and a letter of apology from them for cancelling my Order.

We've got 4 doors outstanding on our order (ordered 20 door packs in total) - the sage green glazed ones.

OH was told last month that they were getting stock into the warehouse on 17th Oct. So he rang them on the 18th to be informed we would get our delivery in January. He made the chap swear on a stack of bibles that we would really, really, really get the doors in January, which he promised faithfully.

Me, I'm a cynic. I'll believe it when we get them.
