Some are being delivered 15 July and four in Sept, so they won't get put on until then just incase the later ones have any damage.
Well they arrived today, 4 days early, but 3 that I was expecting in this delivery are missing. Phoned customer services and they are due with the other 4 in September. I asked if they would contact me if they arrived earlier, but was told they don't have a system in place for that, I would have to keep phoning them. Anyway I am really happy with them so far.0 -
Our doors are all here, and fit :T
Has anyone found any good deals on handles, or on worktops? Looking for long bar chrome handles and a black granite worktop as cheap as possible
Hi, I was at Ikea last week and they had long silver handles (possibly called lansa?) selling for £1.99 for a pack of two, they had a couple of different sizes at that price if that's any help?0 -
If it helps I forgot the same door off my sage green order, when I asked in B&Q they said that the kitchen isn't discontinued, and it's in the new kitchen brochure at £5 a door even after this deal is ended. So even if you have to wait for new stock, it won't cost too much to patch up the missing door.:beer:0

Well, I tried to only chip out the big ugly ones, which wasn't so bad at all. I did end up cracking a couple of others, but I wasn't being terribly careful as I thought I could just add more blue tiles.
I used a sharp chisel and went round the edges of the grout first. Then I tried to lever the whole tile out, if it didn't come I hit the tile with a hammer to break it up and took it out in pieces. I guess it all depends on how well the old tiles have been put on.
the blue mosaic tiles aren't what I might have chosen, but they were free so I figured they'd do for now! Went for the mosiacs so that I didn't have to try and do it evenly - as you can see they're a bit higgeldy piggledy, but will do for now until I replace all the tiles! Me and the husband have never done any of this before and did it so far on our own (tiling and cleaning was up to me!) we didn't struggle too much, just took us a while to figure out that the different screws on the cabinets allowed us to adjsut the pitch of the doors - a life saver!
Can't wait to get my sink in! then I'll have a proper kitchen!
I used wilkinson's cupboard paint for the cornicing and inside the dark glass cabinets, seems to be good so far, but hasn't had much wear yet!
Very pleased with the results so far though.
Handles from ebay.
What a fab job u have done! wish my cupboards were B&Q size!
Was it difficult painting the cornicing as i am planning on painting my whole kitchen so cupboards, cornicing etc etc!:)
