Oh it is hard isn't it. I do find in the night that he doesn't cry, just stirs, so I don't mind for now, but you know, my relationship is in tatters and won't get better while we sleep in different parts of the house. But while we are all 'getting on' I am loathe to rock the boat too - can't win eh

The anxiety, I keep thinking of seeing my doctor but that all makes it so much more real somehow and then if something happened they would know it was my fault... it is a bit better now - I have an AngelCare monitor which means I only check him every 30 minutes instead of every 10 :o It is awful sometimes - I can't even type what goes through my mind sometimes, what I imagine... why does my subconscious do it?! He is a big, chubby, healthy little boy and I should have nothing to worry about.

Oddly though I am really relaxed in normal day-to-day stuff... for example I had my eyes off him for long enough for him to get halfway up the stairs  I don't panic if he gags on food, as I know that is not the same as choking... I am not a freak about hygiene - we have two cats... I mean the house is very clean etc but he goes and licks the patio doors and I don't mind :) Silly irrational mind of mine.

I lied - just had a look on Amazon, and HP and the philosophers stone is £17.75. Running time 8 hours 25 minutes ;)

Bun if he WERE eating 3x a day I would be a bit harsher, but he completely rejects the idea of breakfast, and often lunch, though he does eat properly in the evening - I guess he is just taking to solids slower than some but he is getting better, actually the last two weeks he's eaten more at lunch than I've thrown so we're going in the right direction! When he eats properly and I know he is not hungry I will probably get more fed up and be a bit harder - esp when I am back at work

I would maybe just have a chat to your doctor Daph - it may be that they can suggest ways of coping with it that you hadn't thought of - and if they do feel you might need a bit of help, they can discuss with you what form that help could take (I really didn't want anti-d's, because I didn't react very well to them after Ryan, so we just talked through relaxation methods).

Spud, that's not a bad price at all - I will have a nosey on ebay later to see if a) there are any bargains to be had, and b) if they have a resale value.

Never stray too far from my DFW roots....lol

Sarah - he's priceless isn't he - he comes out with the most amazing little quotes. :)

    Bunny.......norty girl ;) not till 8th August remember? :D
