Dont think I have posted on your threads before but I have read a few.

Bank share prices are just depressing at the moment but when I had a maturing shareshare a couple of years ago the price was poor so nearly went for cash. Then I noticed you can take the shares and not sell for up to 6 months so I waited for a better price.

Hope you acheive your goal ASAP.

Thanks for the link stressed.mum, I have read it through and I'm not sure if we would be eligible to apply as I'm not sure if they would class Ryan as disabled, but I will ask around at the autism support group and see if anyone has used a grant at all.

Hi Keeping positive (I really like that username ) - once I buy the shares, I can keep them as long as I like before I sell them, so it's not too bad really.....I just want the money NOW....:rotfl:

Louise - the phones are through 3. It's the Mix & Match 300 tariff, and you get a choice of a few different phones (I think we are having the Nokia 6500). The link is here. There's a green box to the left of each phone to tell you how much extra it is per month to have each phone, so we just chose from the ones that were no additional charge, and the 6500 seemed the nicest.

Hi Snaggles, wow you're nearly there, as for the holiday, I'm sure you and your family will have a great time. We booked an amazing luxury holiday but then cancelled when we moved house so lost our deposit but we booked another far cheaper one to France. The kids seem more excited about this one than the other one we booked. At the end of the day as long as the kids enjoy themselves, we will too and it's the thought of getting away from work and everything else!

I've had a lovely, if rather busy weekend - I met Tigag and the littlest Tiglet at the fair on Friday evening. The kids took us on the waltzer and the Crazy Hopper, and I have to say they looked a lot less scared than we did! :rotfl:

Then I travelled down to Bunnyland, to stay with Bunny and the kids on Saturday night. We had a few drinks in the local pub, until we were driven away by possibly the worst pub singer ever (my ears have only just stopped bleeding.....but it was worth it for the amusement value alone!). Just got home after a mammoth 3 hour drive up the motorway in high winds, but it has been brilliant to see some of my lovely DFW friends.

I even managed not to spend too much money! :T

Hi themaccas - we love going to France, and you're right, I think kids just love the excitement of going on holiday, wherever it is (me too, if I'm honest!). You must be so close to being debt free now too - do you know when your debt free date will be?
