What will you do with your money for your first, proper, debt free month? Write it down, tell us about the plan - it will make it seem more real and you'll be committed then to doing something with the money. Then of course you really need to tell us when you do it (and provide pictures if appropriate;))!

Hello to those who haven't posted on my diary before - its always lovely to see new 'faces'.
Cat, I'm not really sure - I suppose I hadn't thought about it because debt repayments will be replaced by higher mortgage repayments once the extension is underway, but I think we will allow ourselves a small treat at least. Our holiday is a big treat though I suppose, and there's a chance we will be debt free before we go, which would be amazing! If so, we will just be able to have a bit extra spending money - we save our £2 coins for spending money, and currently have £54.....oh dear!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
You will do it Snags.
And those £2 coins add up quickly!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Are you off in your posh camper van/tent?? Anywhere nice.
lots of ideas for cheapie days out on some of the other threads. I always use National trust tickets, through quidco. So do I Maz!
Yes, we're going away in the camper - only to North Yorks because we couldn't get the exact same holidays, so we are both going on the Wednesday, then I'm driving back on the Saturday to go to work, returning Saturday night, then Stu is coming home on the Tuesday, working until Friday, and going back on the Friday evening. Then we will have the rest of Friday and Saturday together, and come home on Sunday. It's not ideal, but next year we will be more organised and make sure we get the same weeks off!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi snaggles
I've never posted on your diary before, but I just wanted to say 'hello' because I too have a 7 year old son called Ryan and he has ASD.
I love your sig btw - reminds me of another I've seen on here...... "I wouldn't change my autistic child for the world; but I'd change the world for him".
Best of luck in the last bit of your DF journey - you're so very close, I bet you can almost taste it!
Scarlett xxYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that
