What a great idea this is! If my dad and my brother had actually had something like this (my dad liked sea fishing, while my brother was off on his bike) things might have been really different. Go Snaggles-family!

Hey Weller! Me and Stu used to do karate funnily enough (I'm a blue belt...wooo
), but Ryan went to observe a class once and refused point blank to go - I think in hindsight the shouting hurt his ears. He does like doing 'exercises' though - I wonder if there are any gyms that would let him go and do a little workout with Stu?
Don't worry about emailing me btw (I saw your message the other day) - just you enjoy your moment of happiness with your lovely family, and get in touch when you have more time on your hands!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Aww, thanks KC. It was the Kingsmill (I think) advert that started it all - Ryan watched it and said 'awwww, I wish me and Dad were like that'. :A
And they almost are - they are doing so much better at not bickering, and Stu is learning to have 'the lasting word, not the last word', but they just need a little nudge in the right direction to really bond properly I think."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
What about basketball? An indoor or outdoor sport.
Also, what's the difference between a loft and an attic? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Lol, I think a loft has a ladder to it, and an attic has stairs? Not sure really!
Sport is a bit of a tricky one because Ryan has co-ordination problems sometimes and isn't very strong - and Stu is rather competitive and can't bear to lose.....so it always ends in arguing, with Ryan trying to change the rules to suit him, and Stu refusing to play along, and I just end up cross with them!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

3rd time lucky - bloomin PC, think I need a new laptop
Could/would you let Ryan kind of design his own bedroom, paints, decorations, posters, a wall art, shelves, bedding everything and then he and Stu could do it all together as and when you can afford to buy the stuff. Let him make a board like what interior designers do with colours, materials, theme etc, could he do this with Stu and could Stu let him be in charge with gentle nudges for example and take Ryan around the DIY shops for inspiration. Get Stu to ask Ryan about ideas, ie "Ryan what do you think about blue and pink walls and a green ceiling" (Obviously knowing full well Ryan will say no but giving Ryan the idea that he is in charge of this project) I know Ryan is great on PC so maybe he and Stu could also use that, ie, printing plans out etc and doing research etc
Or if not bedroom could they design a garden for you, even though you have lovely potsPick the plants, where they will go, what colours where, etc etc
Not sure if thats going to be ok (about bedroom) if you have extension done, would Ryan move bedrooms?
Know this is not long term but it may be a start that could lead to other thingsWill shut up and go to bed now................Goodnight sweetie, not gong to be able to sleep now trying to come up with ideas :rotfl:
