So glad your shares performed for you - we cashed in OH's share save as his option price was £6 ish and shares are £2?! should be starting again next month.

How are the plans doing? Did you find out if your council will help with the extension?

Have a lovely holiday- think I heard a rumor you were going away soon :rotfl:

We go on Saturday - sooo excited

Awww, thank you!! It's really nice of you all to come and post. :)

    Jaffa cakes for everyone!

Well, the welder didn't come because of the bad weather. However, he has promised to turn up tomorrow. He thinks we are going on holiday on Saturday, so that hopefully means it will be done in plenty of time, because we don't actually go for another week and a bit. I am trying not to stress about it. :o

Just going to crack open the champagne and celebrate  help yourselves to a glass everyone!

Stressed.mum, hope you have a good holiday, where are you going? Sorry about your hubby's shares - at least with sharesaves you can take the money if the shares haven't increased in value I suppose, but it's annoying when they don't do as well as you'd hoped.

The council wont help with the extension unfortunately, but our plans are at the part-finished stage. The architect was going to bring them round for us to look at, but he's on holiday this week, and then we are away after that, so it will probably be after the holiday now. Which is good because it means we wont need to pay for a bit longer....lol.

I can't wait to see them though!
