    Hiya! :hello:
Just popped on to say hello as I've been AWOL this week.
I hope that everyone is healthy and happy.

Smoky I think that is a really good idea for you and the kids to get away at christmas. I hope you can find a good deal.

We have been having internet connection problems and on monday a BT engineer spent 3 hours locating the fault, which he did in the end. So I had a brainwave and rushed out on tuesday to buy myself my first ever laptop, using the rest of my birthday money and some of my savings and I love it!
I also bought a wireless router which I had great difficulties installing so I phoned a lovely man out of the local paper who managed to set it all up for me after 2 hours, so now we're wireless and I can surf the internet from anywhere in the house. :j My new laptop is like a new toy and very addictive too:o .
Tonight I was too tired to cook so we had a chippy tea. DH has gone out with his brother fo a few drinks as he's come up for the weekend to take his turn in looking after my MIL. It gives DH a break as she's really hard work. My BIL is bringing her over to ours tomorrow for a meal so we're having a huge ham joint from the freezer with roasties and veg and I'm going to make a banana cake for afters.
Time to go now as I'm falling asleep!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Stef, get him out of there now:mad:

weeeeell dd arranged for him to stay the night as they're swimming locally tomorrow and if he picked her up tomorrow then that would be not quite a full daddy weekend - or something - I don't know - I wasn't listening properly. He says that the fish and chips and mousse was to celebrate her last day before the diet .... so now she knows she's on a diet - good grief. I don't talk to him anyway - just put my headphones on
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
