I thought they price matched most electrical items.
They do, that's what 'Never Knowingly Undersold' is all about.
You may find a 'cheaper' (as in at the lower range of the market) TV cheaper elsewhere, but they price match on the TV's they sell.
I understand where the poster is coming from, I always thought they were expensive, but then realised that as we always bought 'tat' in the past, we'd never have found it in JL.

The thread title drew me in as I have heard nothing but praise for John Lewis. I've always gone for bargains and now I go to where the customer service is second to none. Ok, so I've only made one purchase from JL and I have to say the goods were packaged nicely and arrived very quickly. I will be buying from them again as I've read on here how good they are when putting things right.0
