I sell quite a lot of my prizes on ebay or to people at work. People at work love being able to buy a game for less than half price!

If it is a prize I can't use, I list it on ebay once and, if it doesn't sell, I give it to one of our local charity shops.
Last year I won a Girls Aloud goody bag which had loads of stuff I could (& did) use and a lot of stuff that was no good to me. Gave some of it away, ebayed the rest and then bought (off ebay) an old document I was able to donate to the Surrey History Centre. This year I'm not being quite so altruistic - as I am going on an expensive study trip in September & I'd like to get some cash together for that (thanks to Jet2 for providing the free flight!
).
The one thing I don't enter is for tickets I know I won't be able to use (eg shows in London) or meet & greets with people I've no interest in - I reckon they should go to people who will enjoy it!
Which I guess makes me sitting on the fence!!!latest win: LOTR: Moria - thanks to catz
- I'm moving to Australia in April - will the competitions be any good there?!:rotfl:

I only enter comps that I specifically want. I very rarely enter for holidays as I don't like flying and don't enter for tickets as I'm not sure if I could arrange to go
There are a few reasons for entering competitions such as the the buzz of winning or the gaining of pleasure in giving things away. However if your thing is selling prizes for money then this is equally a valid reason for entering even more so if you actually need the money.0
