im well chuffed i've been doing my math and it turns out we are down 1032 units of electric then the same time last year. around 11 units less a day which in money terms for us is a saving of around £130 on last years E7 bill :j

Badges for last weeks readings came in as 2 'C's

Both my gas and electric are up again this week :eek: Electric from 52kWh to 74kWh, and gas from 343kWh to 365kWh !!!!

Does anyone else have one of the Owl things that clip to your meter cable and let you see useage from indoors? Mine seems to be totally out compared to my actual meter

The Owl (mine was free from BG) says last 7 days useage is 84.06kWh, compared to 74kWh on the meter. And over the last 30 days it days 321.18kWh, whereas the last 28 days on the meter is just 244kWh (and last 35 days on meter is still only 314kWh)..... If it's THAT far out it really doesn't seem worth using it

cw18 I have the same problem with my minim from BG. However I do like to keep it on as it does show when things are left on. I can tell as I walk past it if for instance my girls have left the spotlights on in their rooms and tell them to go switch them off. You kind of get an idea of how far out the total is and can adjust mentally. I keep weekly meter reads (daily if I can't resist the urge, trying to fight it as feel might be a bit O.C.D!) to keep a real eye on consumption as opposed to what the minim says.

Thanks Jenny - nice to know it's not just me having problems

Must admit part of my concern was whether my meter was 'off', 'cos my bills would shoot up if it is and the company came out to check it (every time I speak to them to get my D/Debit reduced they seem surprised my useage is as low as it is for the size of property )

Slight improvement 181 kWh on gas and 26 kWh on electricity for this week. I'm on two E's for last week.

Can't say anymore other as the site is down at the moment.

Slight improvement for me too. Tho badges are back to C and D. Had a great week for the washing, out every day except Saturday. Was very impressed to see the thermometer in my unheated bedroom rise to 20c today, nothing like a bit of sunshine to warm things up.:j
