Guess I must be being really mean about putting the heating on :rolleyes2
In the 'all users', you have folks like me who will always bump up the average without even trying, so you aren't mean, you just live in a much more economical house energywise.I reserve the right not to spend.

Morning!
This has been my first proper week of measuring our energy usage. Here it seems to have got warmer as the week has gone on, we did put our central heating timer on part way through the week but have put it off again now. Had the fire lit quite a bit at the beginning of the week but it hasn't been touched for a few days. The sun is shining here, long may this continue!
On imeasure we've got B and C badges this week, wasn't sure if this was because I put the figures in fairly early this morning but they haven't changed yet.
Your household's total energy spend over the last 27 weeks is £322.31.
For week ending 25th October, 2009 your household spent £15.67 in total.
Gas: £9.18 - Electricity: £4.40 - Electricity B: £2.09
It goes back 27 weeks because I found the meter readings from when we moved in and put those in as well.0 -

I've always tended to get a "better" badge against all users than "all g&e detached" - so it's a nice surprise to be doing so well against the latter categoryOn imeasure we've got B and C badges this week, wasn't sure if this was because I put the figures in fairly early this morning but they haven't changed yet. .Cheryl0 -
Your badges are based on the figures you entered LAST Monday - they won't change again until next Monday (unless people enter figures for last week that they'd forgotten about doing)
That explains it then, it's worked out the average use for our previous weeks including the whole of the summer so that will have bumped our score up a lot. I imagine next week our badge rating will drop!0 -
Your household's total energy spend over the last 53 weeks is £352.67.
For week ending 25th October, 2009 your household spent £5.02 in total.
Gas meter (cubic metres): £0.32 - Main electricity meter: £4.70
Hi everyone, hope its as sunny where you are as it is here. Another good week, A for both badges :A...we still haven't had to put the heating on here as its been so lovely and sunny. Forecast looks the same for the coming week too so its all a bonus...sun= free heat! :j 2 loads of washing on line & kids playing in the garden in t-shirts...October 26th??????0 -
I'm on double A so far this week. Looking at the weekly graph on imeasure November was when I got a big jump in my usage - presumably when the clocks go back.
65 weeks in total so that is another quarter by imeasure posting.
Comparing annual usage for year to August and October:
Electricity is down 5%.
Gas is down 18%.
CO2 is down 11%.
Cost is down 15%. :j:j:j0 -
I have just joined imeasure so will subscribe to this thread to help me too. Thanks for this thread and all who contribute to it.0

WELL DONE!! :j:T I think anyone who manages a double A should be suitably compensated by the Government by way of a Council Tax rebate or something similar!I reserve the right not to spend.

Just entered my meter readings into my s/sheet (will add to imeasure in a moment).
Gas is exactly the same as last week - so looking good there :T
But electricity has shot up from 66kWh to 77kWh  Probably hasn't been helped by the fact it's half-term, as this means DS was on his PC all day yesterday instead of at college - and it will have also been hit (to a lesser extent) by the fact I wasn't out yesterday morning (normally work as a volunteer in the local primary school).
Given there are two more days this week where DS would normally be at college (and another morning I'd normally be out in the local school as well), this doesn't bode well for next weeks readingsCheryl0 -
Wow - double A! That's incredible! Well done!
I got D against all users and C compared with households with 1 person.
But my usage is down a little again compared with last week so that's good.
Gas went down from 22 to 11kWh - yay! And electricity went down from 43 to 40 kWh. So that's a total of 51kWh and 23kg CO2.
Heating is still off but I think that will change soon as it starts getting colder. But I'll manage with extra layers as long as I can.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
