Your CO2 per person 21 kg
    Your household CO2 63 kg

This is for 2 adults and one child. We are £182 in credit with Eon waiting for Feb-May bill to arrive. Hoping for a refund too based on:ConsumptionTracker.jpg

    Last week I used:

    3 cubic metres of gas
    20kwh of electricity.

    That's 19kg of CO2, and a C carbon rating.

Wow, I was getting an A carbon rating for the same usage in the colder weather.

    Good morning :)

Last week was my best week, so far, as the heaters have been turned down further and I haven't had to light the fire at all. Compared to you guys, though, I'm an 'E' rating, so don't think this will ever change and can't really see how the ratings work. It must be impossible for an all electric house to reach an 'A' if there's hot water and cooking needed every single day. I'll continue monitoring my personal useage, as I have done this for years, but I'll bow out of the imeasure/challenge as it's impossible for me to reduce my electricity any further until the cold & frosty mornings go.

Missed doing my readings last week so have done them today.

Am up for the 2 weeks but have had 6 people in the house on a few days and half term too so will hopefully be back down for next week.

My ratings with all users (324) is A so pleased with that :)

Well on the week that I was away on hols, turned the boiler as low as it would go (DH won't let me turn it off totally) switched everything off at the socket etc, I'm still an F. So there's no hope for me either NYK!

If you were away last week (ie. for the week you've just entered figures for), then you won't get the rating until NEXT week. The ratings are updated each Monday after the END of the week you entered them in - so that they have everyone's readings and a static average (otherwise it would chop and change every time someone put their readings in).

Just been to see where the figures I entered last Tuesday have put me in terms of Carbon Badges and Club Ranking....

I'm STILL a 'C' for both badges, but the ranking has totally messed up !!!

When I go to the carbon club page it now (supposedly) shows details on the top 5 people, but the top entry says

    Rank : 1
    Username : jprettypicture2
    Occupancy : 4
    kg CO2 per household : -167320
    kg CO2 per person : -41830

I wish my usage was negative :rotfl:

ETA: Have emailed them to find out what's happening -- they're going to be sick of me soon ;)

I entered them today for last week (took the read yesterday) - I know sometimes the carbon club ranking changes as other people enter their info but I didn't think the letter changed at all? but maybe I'm wrong will keep an eye on this. Thanks for offering a scrap of hope :)

I asked them for confirmation on when the badges and rankings change a couple of week ago, and they were quite emphatic that they run a week behind (which corresponds with the dates on the data beside the badges etc.)

Just heard back re: the ranking issue -- apparently someone has a gas meter that's running in reverse :rotfl: They're looking into it, and have said
I'll try to introduce a little sanity checking into the script to leave out obviously incorrect entries.
So I assume for that they're doing something with the ranking calculations, rather than looking at putting some input verification in place for when we enter our data
As a computer programmer myself, the latter would seem to me the more obvious thing to do !!

Just had another email from i-measure - Carbon Club rankings are now fixed :T

Bad news for me though - I came in at 34 out of 47 :(
