Just chased up my final bill for Potty Scowrer and checking the switch has gone through properly as I have not received the final bill yet.
Cost of SP for 17 days is £11.82 with standing charge Ebico £5.17 new price so probably about £6.0 -

My monthly dd will now be lower than it was at the beginning of 2008, before they put it up for the huge price rises (even though mine are capped till this November!). This is the 2nd time they've lowered it, but the first repayment.
I'm now determined to try and get my usage down even more, now I've done a full year of readings.
Well done!
Our latest bill showed we were down by about 22% for our usage between Jan & April based on last years figures, unfortunately due to Eon's price increases and the fact I capped during the great panic last Summer we still managed to use £98 more than what we'd paid for. Still the heating has not been used since the clocks went forward and will not be until they go back...will try again to make it to 1st Nov. Am really hoping to clawback the £98 by saving on heating and on things like tumble dryer as I don't want to up my payment to them......we need a fingers crossed smiley here! :rotfl:
Keep up the energy saving everyone.

ooh, 7th out of 49!! :j
Used 11 kwh gas this week rather than 4 and 8 the weeks before. The number of baths and exactly matches!! Need to work out the cause of the erratic electricity usage. Days out I think match weeks with less but need to plug in my energy monitor. I was expecting lower as have unplugged 2nd freezer. Saying that over the weekend we have the PC and TV on most of the day:naughty

Just checked my badges based on last weeks readings
I'm a D (top end) against all users, and a C (low end) against all g&e detached properties -- and down at 37/49 in the group.
And I reckon this week will be worse!! I've not boosted the heating yet (but may have to today, as I have my younger GD all day and the weather's absolutely rotten), but I've done loads of extra washing and (subject to decent weather) expect to be doing more this week and probably next!! I'm in the midst of a major house declutter, and keep finding bags and boxes of outgrown clothes - plus I have my late DH's wardrobe to go through - so am washing and sorting any that are in good enough shape to be Freecycled or dropped off at a local charity shop!Cheryl0 -
11 kWh of gas and 19 kwh electricity - 12 kg of CO2.
Cost: gas 40p; elec £2.61; so just over £3.00
I'm just not getting on that top 5 board.:D 6th for last week.
39 weeks 1115 kg CO2.
Edit: I forgot the badges A for all (10 / 31), B for low rise flats (10 / 22).0 -
Entered my readings today. Tiny bit up on last week, maybe its the fan I've had on in girls room?
Managed to be an A still. And 2nd out of 49 in the club, dont think thats right as I know I'm not as careful as alot of you here.
The main thing is I'm watching my consumption and however I rank thats a good thing for my pocket and the environment0 -

Thanks SMF2,
That's the one!
Only started seriously energy watching in July so am really hoping that over the next quarter we'll notice a difference and eat into the debit. Only thing is the small people are now using the PC and the laptop but at least they've switched off the WII and the Playstation when using them!

Just remembered that I didn't read the meters this morning - so have done so a mere 8 hours later than normal !!
I hoped to see a small drop in gas, but half expected a rise in electricity due to a few extra wash loads and mowing the lawns again - best I hoped for on this was folding steady.
However, gas is down by 11kWh which is great (from 125 to 114) - and electricity is also down :T Only by 4kWh (from 66 to 62), but it's the right direction so I'm really pleased with this.Cheryl0 -
Had new boiler fitted in April but won't really be able to tell how much difference it makes until I can compare this year to next year.
I'm 29 out 54 in the carbon club and carbon rating C and I haven't adjusted my tarrif yet.
