My bookmarked link wasnt correct either this morning.
I added my mornings readings (I morning late) and I've increased my electric useage againthings I can think of are, lawn mower an extra washing machine load and 1 tumble dryer load after I had a poorly 7 year old over the weekend. Not sure how lawn mower would effect things really.
I cant find where the ratings are though, I'm lost since the changes.0 -
Meters read a few hours later than normal - but I've been out a couple of hours so probably not a lot of difference to reading them at the normal time.
Electricity is down a bit on last week, but gas is up! I'm putting the increase in gas (or some of the extra 24kWh) down to having to boost the hot water a couple of times this week
Still a 'C' rating, and looking like 36 / 50 in the club.Cheryl0 -
Hi Cheryl - how did you work out your position in the carbon club? I couldn't get the info from the graph shown on the carbon club page - and even your result mentions that you're 36/50 - but the carbon club still lists 111 members. I'm confused.
There's a graph I hadn't seen before on the results page, showing how much money has been spent. Hope they eventually give the result in figures too.0 -
I only ever got ratings out of 50-something, so I'm assuming that over half the members aren't actually keeping records
The bar chart on the Carbon Club page has an 'x' axis of 50 - so I take that as 50 sets of readings recorded (hence 'out of 50')
I then count my position along this axis to get my positionCheryl0 -
Cant believe it I am on a B rating. I have waited to see if it changed as couldn't believe it was possible. But now on Thursday and it still says B even though readings are slightly higher than previous week and I was a C then. Still miss old style of Costs though.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

There's a new graph and extra energy comparison on there too. Allows you to compare by group and house type. Very useful.
I agree the weekly cost and cumulative total is a useful comparison if inaccurate compared to actual billing.
Just submitted my final readings so should be on cheaper gas and electricity soon.:j0 -

I've given readings continuously and on time since 16th November, but find the graphs less easy to read and less accurate than a simple numeric result.
It's a little disappointing to find that there are over 50 inactive members in the MSE carbon club.
On the downside, just checking imeasure, I find I've dropped from an A to a B rating - while still using the same resources that earned an A. I expect the carbon rating is based on my usage compared with other club members, and now most people have their heating off.
I may go and sulk a bit0 -

I'm only guessing it is incomplete readings - can't think of another reason - sounds a bit high just to be that. Redundant readings from moving house or meters might be other reasons.
I'm on a B for all users and a C for low rise flats. Ooops. Not surprising as I am ground floor single glazed.
I'm just coming out of my sulk from slipping 18 to 22 kg and 13 to 18 on the graph.:D0
