    Evening All,

Back to work today after yesterdays unexpected day off. Managed to finish most of my to do list yesterday except for the hoovering, need new filters which I won't get until Saturday!

Huge gentle hugs to Smokey and Candygirl, hope tomorrow goes well for both of you.

Penpen, hope your bruises are going down, I cycle to work and must admit that I don't wear a helmet (very bad example to DS) but after reading your post I wore mine today so something good has come from your accident.

Penpin, hugs to you, hope the tablets start working soon and that your stay in hospital next week will be bearable.

Aussie best wishes to your sister, glad she is recovering well.

N9eave - get to the Drs soon.

Hello to all the newbies and hugs to those in need.

Beth, enjoy your visit to see your DB1 and report all the gossip to DB2 to take his mind off things?? Hugs to you too.

    Catowen - where are you?

Right off to the land of nod as I am shattered.

Take care one and all, hugs all round if you want one.

    Evening all

No multitasking yet as dd(11) has put her foot down and is in Eastenders World at the moment - I will get to watch the other match at 9 though. Difficult day at w*rk has left me fingers crossed crossed crossed that I get the job i've applied for.

smokey will be thinking of you tomorrow - I think this might be a good thing - I'm sure you'll get loads of support
Candygirl - thinking of you for tomorow too
    have a lovely evening

    Evening everyone
i`m finally catching up after this mornings fiasco losing both the posts i made.
The site seems really slow now i`m at home so i hope the same dosen`t happen again.

I`ve got one more day to wo*k and then i`ve 5 days off WOOHOO:j
Hope that the weather is ok as i`ve loads to do, there`s a sale on at boots of all the sun cream etc and i was thinking of getting some for when we go away but i`ve no idea what protection factor to use. We are going to Cornwall mid sept so any ideas anyone?
Most of the preparation for the morning is done, the dw is loaded and the houndlets have been fed, monster cat is stuffed and is laid upstairs waiting to ambush one of the hounds. The bm is set on the timer and i don`t think i`ll bother with the wm as i`ve nowhere to put anymore washing until the last load is dry.
I`m really tired now so i`ll be off to the land of nod shortly.

Candygirl - hugs for you and your dad

Mioliere - glad to see you`re feeling better

Aussie - ((((HUGS)))) for your sister

    Jay - welcome

Smoky - ((((HUGS)))) for you and the children

Penpen - Glad to hear you are ok any piglets yet :D

Metherer - how did the WI meeting go?

Hi Grannybroon - the mysterious 'M' here! I ran out of time today because everything here seemed to be happening at once so I have deprived you all of a couple of long posts today! I don't know why I ramble on - well, I do, really; it's because I learned to type years ago. If I had to study the keyboard and take time choosing each key, I'd run out of patience and my posts would be really short. It's just everyone's bad luck on here that I can type PLUS - my DH swears blind that I get through about 30,000 words a day. Surely not, I hear you say!

Anyway, enough from me - I've had a bath and I'm going to sit down for half an hour to [STRIKE]doze off in front of[/STRIKE] watch the telly.

See you all tomorrow. Have a great evening - what's left of it!

    Hi any late nighters.

Just back, Spanish bar not serving tonight, so ended up at the local Chinese. 7 people welcome sangria, prawn crackers, 3 courses (set meal for 6 + 1 menu del dia), including wine, brandy less than 60€. Far too much food, good company, what more could we ask for.

Feeling throughly spoilt, but a bit guilty. Night Night All
