    Hello all !

Just back from a few days break in Liverpool.......combining MIL's birthday and a quick look round the City of Culture.........did the cathedrals and art gallery.........brilliant it was. Might have stayed till tomorrow but it was heavy rain and wasn't going to get wet through for a bit of 'culture' so we came home to have a few days to ourselves before our leave ends at the weekend.

Hope youre having a good day and hugs (((((((((:o ))))))))) to those who need them

feeling better today. have received lots of encouraging messages and people have been kind enough to share some of their own worries - helps to keep things in perspective. There were lots of tears yesterday, but they were cathartic and am feeling more philosophical today, although if they emigrate to Dubai, I will still be grief stricken!

have felt better able to manage my eating today (my slimming counsellor says not to call it 'in control' or 'out of control' as it isn't a helpful message to give yourself) been 100% on diet so far today and have slimming meeting tonight, so will receive support from that too.

am babysitting all day tom so that DD and SiL can get on with the mountains of paperwork they have to sort out for the Liquidator. Am looking forward to my stint tom, it's been a very long time since I have had charge of a baby!

I love the expression from smokybabes of gentle hugs, I'm going to adopt that one

OH worked all morning on a noticeboard he's making (a commissioned job) then took himself off to the pub for lunch and a pint. So he'll be having some soup I made for him yesterday with some bread from the freezer tonight. And some fruit if I prepare it for him, left to his own devices he only ever eats bananas as he can quickly grab those.

I'll just be having my LighterLife packs (like Cambridge). Lost 2 stone so far, another 4 to go.

gentle hugs to all ((((( ))))) who need them

Smokybabe-Im sure you will be fine tomorrow at work. Sounds like you need to go to work to have a rest:D ...hugs to you and your kids!

Had a couple of crappy days and still feeling quite sick. Have been given some new sickness tablets and hopefully they can help a bit.

No washing today, but DW has run through and been emptied...also toilet has been cleaned. Must do a shoping list this evening and do another mealplan for the next couple of weeks. Im back in hospital next week for 3 days, so need meals to be easy or just pulled out the freezer.

    Hope everyone is well.

Hugs to smokey, I am in tears reading your post, I can't imagine how you are coping, you are really doing very well considering. I hope tomorrow goes well for you.

Don't over do it in the garden, Rome wasn't built in a day, plenty of time to dig and plant later in the year.

Pen Pen - I hope you are ok today after your wee accident.

Hugs to everyone else in need today.

Lovely to see Snowy posting again, I hope you find a job soon.

Smokey, didn't read your post properly and missed the most significant part. So sorry about your loss, having to hold it tog for your little ones sounds like it would be very difficult.

I am thinking of you, hope it starts to get better soon
