Hello FMN,
we have no dealings with Lloyds but with numerous other banks. In our experience the companies tend to have different depts saying different things and contradications are numerous. Ignore every call and letter unless it is from the collections department of the bank. Never phone the banks back at the weekend as the collections teams [EMAIL="don@t"]don't[/EMAIL] generally work then. Don't speak to any other team unless it is to put you through to collections. They can sort things there and then and make decisions over the phone. Write initially with income/expenditure etc but then it is easier for you to phone and sort things. Ask for a letter to confirm their decision regarding your payment plan.
MBNA call all the time but this all stops as soon as a plan is arranged. Speak to collections as soon as possible. They asked us to increase our pro rata payment so that we had a plan to be able to repay what we owe within ten years(!!!!! - hopefully much sooner than this) at the most. We managed to agree this- just.
As for bowling, we went to Tenpin this week, it was £18 all in for 3 lanes all in. There is five of us but the two little ones shared a lane and I directed everything. If you go to Lidls/ Aldis whatever before for cheap sweets and drinks it will make it cheaper than than the bar there. By the way I have discovered taht the economy chocolate at Sainsburys(basics pack) is 38p for a large bar and it tastes just like cadburys.
Hope this helps and enjoy your little girls birthday whatever you decide to do.

Hi FMN, the party sounds lovely. Can you organise a skittles tournament at home to satisfy the bowling urge? I've never been bowling so don't know what it entails but I'm sure with a bit of imagination you could fix up some 'convincing' details/
I sympathise with the difficulty of giving good attention to children whilst dealing with stressful admin stuff. I struggle with it too.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Hi FMN, sounds like the party went really well. Happy Birthday to little FMN. Have you sent off the e-mail to the agent? Hope it goes well.

Hi Lucielle, I'm going to do some editing tonight when the younger children are asleep, to correct things. I find it easier to read a paper copy rather than on the screen and annoyingly I gave my Dad the only printed out copy to read and he's miles away - and I've run out of (£15/cartridge) black ink. Aha! I can print it out in blue! There's an idea... So, I haven't emailed her yet. I'm going to try and get it to her before the end of Monday though as we are then going camping for two days. Thank you for birthday wishes, she is having a lovely day!
Hi Seaxwyn - good idea for a skittles tournament! We could use empty water bottles and a tennis ball. Children only want you to pay attention to them and for the family to do things togethether anyway really don't they? Cheap hours at our Number 10 bowling if games finished before 12 - £2.95 per game, so maybe we'll go one weekend towards the end of the month if we have some cash left. Hope you have a good day with your children.

:hello: Hi back Soubrette!
I'll try that Lucielle. I'm gearing up to do some selling on ebay too. I've got so much stuff which isn't any good to us any more, and some figures for example that my grandmother left me. I loved her very much and have many wonderful memories of her, but don't have any of them looking at these Chinese figurines! They might be worth something to someone though, and I'm quite sure she wouldn't mind knowing our situation.
