Good luck with the interview FMN - go easy on them.

Good to hear something positive on the DMP front too. The only thing i would advise if doing it yourself is when arranging the payments tell them they will receive payment by the end of the month rather than a specific date or something inflexible. (I'm sure i read that on that support thread). I'll try to find it again.

Edit: Blimey!! i must have read only a few bits and pieces. I wouldn't have got any work done if i'd read the whole thing. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=977633

If you see this before the interview then "Good Luck!". If you don't see it until afterwards, then I hope it went well. xx

  • Oh, thank you all for your lovely messages. Interview seemed to go OK. It was with an recruitment agency who specialize in field sales, so we'll see. My old self would hate the idea of being on the road all the time, but if I'm lucky enough to be put forward for a job then I'll really go for it. In the meantime I'm going to register with more agencies, apply for all sorts of other jobs, etc.

Thanks again so much for all your support,

    FMN xx

  • George, thank you for the link - I've just started reading the thread and there's loads of useful info there.

When I spoke to CCCS yesterday they told me that First Direct were likely to be the most agressive, which ahs certainly held true. By contrast Halifax and Capital One have been OK. Egg I've just received something from asking us to ring them. I know we're supposed to avoid doing anything by phone, but they sound so nice and reasonable in their letter....

Just be careful is't not a premium rate number you call them on.
There is a site - say no to 0870 (or something) that may give an alternative number you can use if you do decide to call them.
