Ho Forgetmenot, you are sounding much more positive now, keep going. we have had some good news, we have had an offer on our house, (well below the asking price but in the current climate would seem silly not to accept it) early days yet and something could go wrong, but hopefully and every digit crossed we could be debtfree by the end of the year, and I will never ever touch a credit card again (well they wont give me one anyway will they?)
I know what you mean about OH's, mine feels terrible that he has let me down, I just wish he had told me sooner and that I had not put my head in the sand as well and ignored what was going on. Now we have our new account he feels more in control of our money rather than "them" being in control of it. the phone calls are still happening, 3 on sunday, 2 at tea time last night, but he sorts them, I have resorted to unplugging the phone in the day, I am supposed to be recuperating and it just upsets me and stresses me each time it rings.
sorry, was meant to be supporting you and feel as if I have had a rant! keep going and dont let the b
    s get you down!

  • I love your name fairydiamond - we all need people like you around! Thanks so much for posting to offer your support, it means so much.

Trevindra - that sounds like such good news. I hope it goes smoothly - you don't need the stress after your operation. How are you feeling by the way? No, I'm not going to let the b******s get me down! They're robots anyway, and I'm flesh and blood, so there... :p

  • This morning I went to talk to someone very helpful (and free) about our endowment policies. He's told me the letters I need to write, and to bring in the responses when I have them so we can decide what to do.

Now some work on the book!
