    im like that about the gravy too, i dont like it. im also funny about slippers, they make me feel physically sick (not that i eat slippers)

    i also need a new mattress and i was thinking of one of those memory foam ones (£650+ yikes !!!) - but a mate tells me that they are really hard and uncomfy and that even just sleeping on them causes you to sweat like anything ... anyone got any experience that can be shared on a public forum ??

    slipper carvery - pastures would fill them with gravy just in case she ran out! At least there are no bones in slippers. Not unless you are wearing them, that is.

    There was a thread on this in the Arm recently. A very knowledgable (but slightly condescending) guy was giving great answers. Apparenty the ones to go for have LESS than three inches of memory foam and uderneath a sprung mattress. I'm also thinking of trying to find some cheap memory foam for my dog bed :rolleyes:

    We have a futon, which is pretty hard, and sleep well. OH used to get backache, and never does now.

    The downside - getting out of bed when I was 8 to 9 months pregnant was one hell of a challenge!

    My cat, who is currently living with my parents and brother, is an avid hunter.

    Bruv's gone off Yossie recently. He'd left his trainer-boot thingies in the kitchen. He put them on in the morning, and squashed a mouse that Yossie had kindly left in one boot. Apparently, washing mouse brains off your foot in the morning isn't a great start to the day.....
