what parts of the tale do you belive poppyolivia
the 2 hour wait at check in
there being only 2 desk open for 2-3 morning flights from stansted
the security man wrestling her 3 year old to the ground
the cabin crew insisting that she sit seperately from her 3 year old
the only bit which i could stretch myslef to belive her, was the 45 mins at security, im sure no-one else has experienced that at stansted this yeat, but its not completey out of the question0 -
are you still whining on?! god i gave up posting on here as i got fed up of all this, but alas you obviously didn't! err and you seem to be adding to my so called tall story yourself!
didnt say 2 hours i said stood for nearly 2 hours in checking queue.
didnt say wrested my child to the ground: i said practically did!
err yes there was only 2 desks open as it was very early morning so maybe they dont have more desks open?
why would i bother saying the cabin crew said that when they didn't?maybe we were one of the last on but that still doesnt mean they should ask us to be separated?
TBH i couldnt care less if you believed me or not, i know that i am telling the truth.
i just wanted to update everyone anyway and say i recieved a letter back from ryanair on saturday!:j wont bother writing it on here as i am sure ynot2005 will have yet more to say, and be generally rude to me, but basically i wasn't the only complaint they had recieved about that flight and here is a little gift for me!so thank you Ryanair for actually acknowledging me and realising that their customer service was err lacking somewhat!!:T0 -

The thing is, I believe it all, I have near enough the same treatment with Air France, its a running joke in the family!..some security guy at CDG tried to grab (yes, grab) my son from me while I was trying to hold on to the buggy and take my belt off, then another security lady ran over and gave him a right bollocking saying he should have asked first, then she asked me if she could hold 'the baby'...then they preoceeded to take some clothes off him...I think he was about 1 or 2 that time???
The waiting yes we are always delayed at check in, we go with about 12 ish people and for some reason (not our fault) the people at the desk always want to check us in at the same time and I swear to god I lose the will to live...it takes ages and ages but one thing is great is that they reckon they are doing us a favour my doing this and they are all smiles etc?? then when we get on the plane sometimes (not all the time) the kids are by themselves (but like I said before we get shifted cause toddlers rule the world!;) )
Oh yeah and I got called off a flight (before take off) because something in 'my' case was buzzing??? Went onto the tarmac and it wasn't even my suitcase but had a tag that the airport put on it in my name! What a redder! By the way it ended up being someones elses in the our party and it was an electric toothbrush!:rotfl:
And before you say it was our fault because we went through the same time, that was Air France trying to be nice (I suppose) and we all did our own cases at the right times...so goodness knows how my name ended up on it???
We go about 3 to 4 hours before the flight and we still get on last just about and it isn't because I don't have a watch:p
:rotfl: There was a french lady next to my wee nephew and she told the crew she had a headache and had to move to the back of the plane, thing is he was being as good as gold and colouring in (maybe she was scared he'd draw on her fur coat or something)....some people are so funny, snooty cow!;) But hey then his mum got to sit with him!
oh happy days!!!:rotfl:
Well done Pinkladez, just goes to show it wasn't made up if there was more people complaining! You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
yep thats what i would have done as well if i had tried to prove pinkladez exagerrated tale to be correct, ignore what she has posted and waffle on about something else vaguely connected
its not made up, just exagerrated, nearly 2 hours in the queue and at least 45 mins at security, not to mention at least 10 mins to get to the gate
check in only opens for 1 hour 20 mins....the sums just dont add up, thats why she hasnt tried to explain to the wait. if she was the last person to check in she would not have made the flight, ryanair are ruthless at closing the gate on time
if she was the last person to be checked in then the she was at the back of the queue, and the rest of the flight were also already standing in the queue 40 mins before the check in desk opened
perhaps you should look beyond her repeating "im telling the truth" and think about the facts, and the rest of the spiced up tale which dosent add up either0
