Would people rather all security measures were relaxed and just take pot luck with the terrorists? Queues at security nothing to do with Ryanair.
  • hahahaha god its stressful enough taking our delightful toddlers on holiday let alone with everything else happening!!!i am debating about ever using public transport again in the company of my 3 year old or my ginourmous family!!

valid point i dont expect them to be relaxed but i would hope for common sence! my daughter had a tiny crochet cardi type thing on which couldnt have concealed anything, and became very distressed when a complete stranger grabbed her and started trying to pull her top off! she surely would have been a very low risk and surely they could have asked me to take her top off rather than scare the living daylights out of a baby!?
yes aware that sercurity queues dont have anything to do with ryanair but the airport themselves, but while i was ranting ryanair got the full blame!:o

i thought there was more to the story than you originally posted pinkladez, i suppose wating for 14 to arrive to check in together was the reason for the 3 hours from you arriving at the airport and getting checked in, is that right?

how is that anything to do with ryanair? , if you and your daughter alone were checking in, 3 hours at the airport means you are one of the very first to check in.

and there is no need to be a pushy moo, if you pay for priority boarding you get on first, although pushy mothers try and avoid the cost and hassle the cabin crew anyway, probably why you got the reaction you did.

sounds to me like the large travelling group of 14 , turned the whole airport experience into a fiasco and thats the reason for the delays and the eventual running to the plane

nothing at all to do with ryanair, except a jumped up little flight attendant who did nothing wrong but you took a dislike to their reaction

no wonder you didnt want to rise to my accusations and reply with the facts, 14 of you in the party was the problem not ryanair

Unfortunately the Ryanair fleet are on the Irish aircraft register and as such are regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority, not the CAA. It may be that the IAA have a similar policy regarding children. I haven't had time to check.

what ever are you just a complete moron or do you work for ryanair, whoops sorry they are the same!
what the heck is your problem?
i wasnt going to rise to your acusations as i didnt want to lower myself to your bating but what the heck!

no 14 of us turned up at exactly the same time 3 hours before take off, yes i admit 14 could take a while to process but 14 people in a group surely can not be that hard to accomodate!i think at standsted check in is a complete nightmare generally as others have said the same. however wish i knew that first!
i never hasseled the crew and no i didnt pay for priority boarding as i didnt think i needed it i dont have a baby/elderly or disabled person in my family.

a flight attendant who did nothing wrong-what the heck? how do you see that telling a mother to split up with her 3 year old child for the flight is right??

right i have finished. surely i have provided you with more ammo to have another pop at me for absolutly no reason, other than to gain some personal righteousness!
  • please do not post again unless you have something constructive to say, this thread was originally started to warn people with some of ryanairs policies so they didnt have the hassle i did, not to have a completly pointless slanging match that just rattles people rather than being constructive.

yeah yeah yeah, 3 hours early at check in, 2 hours in the queue, 45 mins at security.,you ran to the plane and the rest of the flight are sitting there.

i hope your next trip goes better than that

Have you any idea how sad and pathetic your posts come across as?
Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.
