You are an absolute star Rayday. :T It is fantastic how you have stayed loyal to this thread and helped so many people. It is great how you have managed to sort everything out for yourself. I can honestly say if it weren't for MSE I don't know where I would be now. I certainly wouldn't have a DMP and things would be a hell of a lot worse.

I agree. If it wasn't for the DMP thread on MSE, I wouldn't have had the courage to go on one as I didn't fully understand what it was all about. What a huge mess I would be in now

And rayday, you do a brilliant job and always helpful and give loads of sensible advice. :T

I don't see it that way there were so many welcoming people who took me in when I came to the thread it was just continuing in the spirit really. It honestly is one of the nicest topics on the whole DFW board - genuinelly supportive with no hidden agendas.

None of you know just how much you keep me going and I am grateful for it everyday.

I think maybe we do. Maybe we all keep each other going ;)

I try and help on here simply because of all the help that was given to me at the start, and I still remember how much I needed that and am grateful for it.

Just had a little trip back to the old threads where I was scared of ringing up payplan. It was ex-spendaholic, teecee, onamission and rustybucket as well as others that helped with some of my questions.

In fact it was ex-spendaholic who suggested going to CCCS as I wouldn't have to talk on the phone and could do it all online - THANK YOU. I'm not sure I would have started the DMP without that advice :D

Hi everyone. I haven't posted before but have been reading everyone elses words of wisdom for a couple of months now and have found it very helpful. I am waiting for my first payment to go out to payplan at the end of the month for my dmp and am a bit nervous about getting stroppy phone calls from creditors. At the moment i am not actually behind with any payments but that will obviously change when the dmp kicks in.
I have to admit this is the second time i have got myself in financial difficulty so i feel a bit of an idiot from not learning from my previous mistakes.
