and still no baby...after clary sage (thx rayday), pineapple, curry...and erm...well you know
the thing that they say helps but which actually started the whole thing errm...etc. etc.
However...
It frigthens me the ineptitude of some of these corporate "giants"
Phoned the AA (car ins.) after moving to the basic bank account and cancelling the DD they advised - after I'd given the new details - that they'd collect on the 7th July with no problem...I got a letter today saying they're charging me £12 for not having sufficient funds available errrr:
available in the bank = £XXXX.xx (it has our emergency fund in for now whilst we set up our emergency fund storage facillity)
payment required = £53.07
GO FIGURE!
The bloke I spoke to just said "oh yes it takes 10 days to sort that out you told us the new account details on the 27th and we tried to collect on the 7th, so we'd be taking from the old account"
Of course I retorted that had the chap I spoke to originally told me this little nugget of info I'd have arranged an alternative payment method for this month!!!!
I'm proud tho, as I didn't lose my cool (nearly did tho - and tomorrow I'll have to make up to the wife as to why I bit her head off just; obviously I've already apologised and said I was being an eejat)
I'm in a similar situation to Claireyfairy31: that is to say HSBC is my main creditor (a loan, a credit card and an overdraft) when I said 4 on reflection I actually meant 2 creditors really - three accounts with HSBC and 1 with Alliance and Leicester. So when I get any response from them I'll let you know how I get on. Try not to worry about this and just be vigilent with the paperwork to show that you're trying to do everything within your means to pay them off...
Just off now to stand down CCCS from acting; hope I have more luck than andytwonames did...like him CCCS just aren't the right fit for reasons I've already been through but they are a fantastic organisation and you shouldn't be put off contacting them.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 201
DMP with Payplan DFD sometime in 2017:eek: !
BUT...I'm Proud to be dealing with my debt.0 -
One of my creditors is Littlewoods (Oh what a lovely bunch hmmm). I had loads of problems with them, very nasty etc, (I'm paying token payments at present), they eventually passed me to Droyds who have been fine, no further action, no calls, accepted £1 ithout question despite Littlewoods saying bog off. WELL, got a letter from Droyds this morn telling me they will no longer (after 2 months only) be dealing with my account as Littlewoods have reallocated it back to Nationwide Debt Recovery (their in-house debt collections debt).
Any idea of hat they might do now and hy theyve done this?
ThanksMSE-ing since 20070 -
Same as happened to me Nicki Sue. I am waiting to hear from NDR but last time I dealt with them they quickly passed it onto Frederickson International - its like round the world with 80 DCA.0

Apparently that erm "thing" that helps but got you there has to be erm ingested through erm yes the stomach.
Please Mrs lmw not my fault its trivia I picked up from a midwife honest :A0 -
Thanks Rayday - won't worry about them then lol.
Have just had a very nice call from Halifax (we have creditcard with them). I reiterated the situation was told that rather than the minimum payment in these situations being 1% its now whatever we can reasonable afford. We are still paying £1 token payments so she asked me to resend that info in (ie income/expenditure and bumf from cccs) and they'll stop charges and reduce interest for up to a year - even though we arent on a dmp yet!
I owe upside of £750 MORE in charges on top of my original debts since March when I started paying £1 so this is very welcome. (I will be claiming these back when I get onto dmp)MSE-ing since 20070 -
Hi everyone im really scared now please help
I have just got a default notice from Lloyds CC i knew they would give me one i dont care about my credit rating .
The letter says if i dont pay the arrears they will contact there solicitors and i will have to go to court .Is this what all default notices say ?
iT also says i should get help ASAP from either a solicitor or local citizans advice .
What will happen now i cant even ring CCCS as its SAT and closed .0 -
I have had 7 defaults recently all saying pretty much exactly the same and no heavies on my door step, solicitors letters etc. A defauly basically is them ended the credit agreement you make with them because you arent fulfilling your end of the bargain ie minimum pyaments. I really wouldnt worry.
Speak to your advisor at cccs on Monday but I'm sure he/she will say the same.MSE-ing since 20070 -

Thanks so do all default notices say about going to court ?
sorry i feel really worried about the thought of going to court ,im not bothered about the default notice.0 -
All mine said "Further Action", "Potential court appearance" etc and nothing came of it. Thats not to say 100% that it couldnt happen but thi is my experience.
Someone else will no doubt be along soon with their experiences etc.MSE-ing since 20070
