I dont know whether im coming or going with Lloyds
I have just rang them to explain that there is no way of paying the arrears i am giving them all i have through CCCS so why take me to court .The lady said she can confirm that my DMP has been accepted and they will not take me to court .
Why do they send me a letter saying they will then?Lloyds always send me these worrying letters on Saturday morning just so i can worry all weekend .0 -

Just give CCCS a call on Monday and give them the correct account details over the phone, thats all I did as I had missed a digit out of one of my references so the money was 'held'You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

You can send the account details online through the CCCS website. Thats what I did in a similar situation.

I owe upside of £750 MORE in charges on top of my original debts since March when I started paying £1 so this is very welcome. (I will be claiming these back when I get onto dmp)
Just out of curiosity, what's the delay with setting up your DMP. Are you still paying the £1 token payments that you started paying in March. It's taking a while isn't it?DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
Lack of income. When we did the expenditure/income form with cccs ( and we are on the absolute minimum allowed amount for everything and still are) we only had literally enough left over to pay £1 to each creditor - pretty dire circumstances.
I've managed to increase my income by £100- £150 a month more than before (self employed) and Ive been told that really they'd like us to have a £200+ excess before dmp but will look again in September if Ive managed to maintain the extra income and set one up then (with a view to increasing payments as soon as).
Its been a long haul it seems but we're committed to it. Its a damn long time to pay token payments and put up with the crap that comes with that but WILL be worth it when we are debt free.MSE-ing since 20070 -
Good Luck then. It does sound like you've had a tough time of it. I hope things get better for you soon.

Thanks hun, its been tough but our marriage is as strong as ever and we have a beautiful toddler. Yes we are up to our eyes in debt of our own making, but it could be much worse and having had our lightbulb moment we're on the right track.
Wouldn't have got there if it wasnt for MSE and you fine people!MSE-ing since 20070 -
Hi Everyone
Just to let you know that I spoke to PayPlan yesterday about the fact that we could not afford the monthly payments on the DMP due to DH drop in income with the Building Trade going T**ts Up. So we had to go over our outgoings again and have now agreed to pay £250 a Month instead of £370.
I was really worried that we had been on the DMP since November 2006 and never missed any payments yet we are struggling again. I had an email yesterday from Lisa at PayPlan who is our contact there and she says that in this current climate, many families have no other choice in reducing their monthly DMP payments and creditors have to understand that. She sent the revised figures out to them yesterday so we will have to wait now.
Oh My God, we cannot do the IVA ( tried that) as we do not have enough equity in our home ( we did when we took out the DMP but decided not to go along with the IVA as it seemed heavy stuff then.
So we are in this for even longer unless we are able to seriously up the payments and I feel really fed up.
Sorry to moan but you know what I mean Guys, it is like a rollercoaster that we cannot get off until we are told to basically and the stress it causes is awful some days. Went food shopping today and we have £130 to last us till next Friday. Although we were in Tesco shopping today and overheard a young Mum telling her Husband that they only had £30 to last for food for two weeks and I looked at her trying to give a reassuring smile and just wanted to go up to her and put my arms around her and her kids and say "I know how you feel and it will be okay". Poor lady, she was only young with two lovely little kids with basic food in her basket that was full of rubbish.
Made me feel really humble and I wish we could have helped her and her man out but you can't can you when you are almost in the same boat. Watching every penny.
Anyway, thanks for reading this and hope you all have a good rest of the weekend.

Hi
Reading the above nearly brought me to tears regarding the young couple with only £30 to last 2 weeks.
Horrible isn't it but no matter how bad things seem , unfortunatly, there is always someone worse off.
I have a long way to go ( 6years) but it is better than being in debt and getting deeper into it for the rest of my life.
Good luck to each and everyone of us and one day we WILL be free :T0
