Well...had all the stuff from PP and voila they're going ahead with it all; I just have to fill in the relevant paperwork - I'll then be able to send relevant details to my creditors with the PP reference.
And PP just accepted that NR was something I needed to avoid putting on my DMP and as it was a joint affair was probably best left out anyhow!
Lovely people there; just like CCCS, shame I've had to go through the paperwork twice but ho hum, we're back on course now!
p.s. still no new nipper - and mrs lmw has been using clary sage for a couple of weeks her midwife told her last time when our boy was overdue (thanks for the tip though!)DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 201

Glad to hear things are working out for you lmw.
Have you told baby lmw that Mummy and Daddy have sorted out the bills now and he can come out?

Anyone had any luck getting the swines at Lloyds to cease charges/charges while in a DMP??
Hi Darth_chaffinch
We started our DMP with CCCS this month and moved from Lloyds to A&L account because we have a Loan, CC and overdraft all with Lloyds.
We were paying £12 per month for a gold account that we weren't using any benefits, especially as we were closing the account. So we went to our branch and asked if we could reduce the acc to a classic (no fee) and just pay off the OD (£100) as part of the DMP. They were great and did it straight away. I am not sure about the interest as our OD is so low.
Also we got a phone call from Lloyds on the Loan and OD today and they have accepted the DMP !!! :T :T :T :T .
We have had loads of problems with Lloyds in the past, but I must admit they have been great this past week and everything seems to have clicked into place.Lightbulb moment: 19 May 2008 !!Total debt May 2008: £24,220 Debt free date: Jul 2013DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 196Proud to be dealing with our debts0 -
When you get paid Friday and have loads of d/D's going out and are lefct with not a lot. I am one of the founder members on the Original DMP thread and this place was always a sanctuary when things get so bad you feel you are drowning in worry. Well today guys I need some support. Feeling really low and have had to stop our DMP weekly standing order as I only have £120 left for us as a family for the week. Have to get food and petrol out of that and we will now be behind with the DMP. So my head is going round and round. Not to worried about petrol, I am off work this week at home convalescing from an operation so do NOT need to drive when I can walk. As for food, don't us DMP Mums know how to pull it out the bag when the budget is tight. I have worked out some healthy cheap meals form the old style board where there are some great meal plans there so for £30 we can probably eat really eat well. If you put your mind to it it works. BUT, the worry and stress just compounds it all doesn't it. My DH is in the Building trade as I have mentioned before and we have had a very bad year with our money almost halved. Some weeks are better than others but this week and next week is going to be hard to get through and it really gets me down.
So anyone who feels like me on a Monday morning, drop me a line and support me and that will make me feel a million times better. I know I am not the only one !
Sorry for the moan but when every day is a struggle it gets so hard.

Bluediamond, have a huge (dodgy) hug:grouphug: .
It sounds to me as if you need to contact Payplan and review your budget. I know it's daunting thinking about reducing your DMP payments but the whole point of being on a DMP is that you can pay your debts and still afford to live. The reduction in your income means you can't sustain your current level of payment, I'm sure in the current climate Payplan will be dealing with lots of people in the same situation as you so give them a phone.
And don't apologise for moaning, being able to offload and receive support is what this forum is all about.
Take care,
Sam,

Hi Sam
I have actually just emailed Payplan and said that we need to urgently review our situation. That is all I can do for now so thanks for the encouragement.
It's just that all of us on this thread have really bad days now and again and although the stress of life before DMP was worse, post DMP it is a different type of worry if you see what I mean.
Quality of life can be so bad sometimes, no free money to ever treat yourself and I have just had to lie to my hairdresser I forgot that I had an appointment today and I cannot afford that no way and it is not a necessity. Only a cheap haircut but £15 is £15 and we need it this week !
Sam, are you on a DMP too, I didn't read your signature properly, sorry !

Sam
How did your debt reduce so much in 13 months, that is GREAT ! !
I wish our £45000 debt came down as fast ! !

This is what we are all here for , we support and listen to each other!!!
Its true, being a monday doesnt help, just adds to that low feeling.
Im just starting negotiations with Payplan but ive found them really helpful so maybe they can adjust your DMP.
You are dealing with your debts and are doing a good job because i know how hard it is when you have a family to support too.0 -

We're with Payplan and basically everything I earn (£1,400 a month) goes into our DMP. We live on DHs wages and it is working OK. I just wish we had learned to live like this 10 years ago and we wouldn't be in this debt now.
I know exactly what you mean about the worry being different. If anything unexpected happens we're stuffed for the month, but at least now we get a fresh start each month and don't see all our money swallowed by o/d and credit card charges and interest.
Good luck with ammending your DMP,
Let us know how you get on,
Sam,

Dear Bluediamond
I would just like to say thank you to you and the other founder members, you have been a godsend, just reading everyone's support for anyone who posts, somehow makes the burden seem lighter. Please accept a virtual hug and my best wishes that things get better very soon. xx0
