Dreamer its in the bag - my bag :T :j :T
No sorry it is mine - I got two lines and both have the same Lucky Stars so that must be an omen, or maybe thinking about it I've probably not got the winning ticket.....LOL, What would 1 person do with £92Millions anyway, they should split the winnings when it gets so high, move it down the lines so you only need to get 1 star and 1 number, let lots of people win a little bit instead of 1 or 2 winning loads, I'd be happy with a £200k, that would sort out my debts and pay off mortgage I would be happy with no debts just now... In fact £50k would be wonderful.... who am I kidding anything would be nice.... keep dreamingCurrent Debt £16,364 about to settle following pension payout0 -

Hi Zoeysmum06 -Co-op bank do a pretty good basic bank account with Visa electron card and on-line banking facility. I was able to set one up over the phone and completed within one week. Best of luck with your DMP. I've been on one for 2 years now and it's the best thing I've done. Things will get easier for you after the first few months so stick with it.0

I can predict numbers I predicted mine!
Don't worry I will remember all my friends on here, you can all fight over the piddly 2 million and I will enjoy the 90
First thing top of the list one of those fancy summer houses with hot tubs in, the big huge ones, you can all come and dip in it when you pick your 2 million up!0 -
Hello
I was advised by newlywed to come and join you.
It's actually my partner who is going onto a DMP with CCCS but as I am on the internet a lot more than him and like to know things a bit more in-depth I am posting on both our behalf.
He had decided he probably needed to go BR but for now the CCCS have advised writing to his creditors and making token payments as he does have a small surplus a month (£200) but nowhere near enough to pay them all even the minimum.
He isn't too impressed and WANTS to go BR as he doesn't want it going on for years and wants to "start again" (he is worried his mistakes will affect us as a family and that upsets him as he ran up the debts when he was single and doesn't see why the rest of us should suffer) but I have decided to have a bit of a more indepth look into DMP and see what is involved.
So Hello!!0 -
Bankrupcy is a tough one to consider, if you intend to buy houses etc in the future it is probably best to try to avoid. Even when you are discharged etc it will effect your history for a while, also job applications etc some do ask if you have ever been bankrupt.
A DMP on paper sounds awful running for a lot of years but of all the debt soluctions it is the kindest to credit histories, it is not a formal agreement so does not affect things like for example becoming a school governor.
He is in a bit of a six of one half a dozen of the other, and it is up to you as a couple to decide which option you prefer. When I first started my DMP it was over 20 years to pay back that was two years ago and 3 companies (small ones!) are paid off and I think I am probably down to about 16 maybe less years. But I know in the future our income will go up so it will be shorter.0 -
hi mouncey i called coop but as i havent lived at my current address for long they want ID so they are sending me the pre-paid envelope so hopefully that will be up and running soon. Ive paid most of my bills for sept so depending when the dmp is set up will depend on what gets paid etc its all a bit up in the air! One company that rang me for a dmp want 17.9% of the repayments each month so i will hold out for the cccs to get back to me hopefully will receive something tomorrow!xx0

I havent got much money till i get paid though so i will have to go over my overdraft! not a wise move i know but it cant be helped!0

Oh and btw symesd i havent got a dmp im just waiting for the paper work to arrive from cccs. i cant carry on with this way of life! Its all i seem to think about is bills and finding money to pay them, and then i borrow off one creditor to pay back another, its ridiculous and has to stop!
So depending on when it will take place ill need to withdraw money from my hsbc account before it all starts or they'll take my pay right?0 -
