    Virgin credit card on there website says MBNA, anyone know if thats right?

    HFC website says a member of the HSBC group - again anyone know if thats right (but the logo is there anyway!)

    MBNA is related to Abbey so avoid them for sure.

    So your safest bets are looking like Co-op or Natwest then ;)

    Yorkshire bank are on there own ish aren't they, my hubby has a fairly basic account with them and you get internet access.

    Don't you just hate banks? :mad: I think back to 1990, I was in my first job and getting paid in cash. It was great. For reasons unknown to me I used to go and lodge that money. All was well I used to just lift it when I needed it. Then came cheque books, switch and DDs. That is where all the trouble begins. :mad:

    The Ombudsman should make them all trade under one name instead of these banks having about 10 different names and fooling people. Aren't I a cheerful sod today? I now have to decide whether to sit and watch the rain or just go out in it. Must it rain every day? :mad:

    I knew i would get some good advice so when OH comes home i can suggest he looks at
    Yorkshire bank (internet access would be good you can monitor whats going on)
