I think thats a good way to look at it, sometimes we can send ourselves mad with worrying over the whys and wherefores of debt. The main thing is that you are paying off your debts and when its done, its done. Until then we all still need to have a life!!

    Don't work too hard!

  • Hi

I am confused (doesnt take a lot for me though :rotfl: ) hoped someone may be able to help.

Earlier I posted that I am looking for the address to write to for Data to reclaim on my Aqua Credit Card, I said at the bottom of my card statements the small print reads

"Aqua is a trademark of SAV Credit Limited, which is used by Halifax plc under license. Aqua Credit Cards are issued by Halifax plc. Halifax plc. Registered office: Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 2RG, registered in England no. 2367076 Authorised and regulated by the FSA."

Well I happend to have an email overdue-payment reminder today from Aqua and at the bottom it reads

"aqua is a trademark of SAV Credit Limited, which is used by Bank of Scotland plc under licence. aqua credit cards are issued by Bank of Scotland plc. Registered in Scotland No. SC327000. Registered office: The Mound, Edinburgh EH1 1YZ. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority."

So now I am totally confused, is it a card connected to Halifax or Bank of Scotland? AND where do I write for my data to claim back charges and also PPI?

    Anybody any ideas?????

    Many thanks

Sorry Ghosthunter I have no idea about that one. I'm a bit pathetic with advice I'm afraid, My dmp has run really smoothly and I haven't had any trouble with creditors not accepting payments or any thing like that so I'm pretty rubbish at giving information.
I can however give lashings of support and an ear to listen. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will come along soon!

Enjoy your time off and your golf YM you deserve it, 'cause you always cheer me up!

    Hi Ghosthunter

Dont know an address but HBOS stands for Halifax Bank of Scotland. They are one and the same.

    Hope that helps
