Oh Chev I found your diary after your post on mine I don't know how I have missed it before.
I have read it all and I am so sorry for all that has happened and especially about your Dad I am glad you came back for the funeral and that you got to see him at peace I know that it made such a difference to me being able to see my grand daughter again in the coffin and not as she was when she died. As Hypno says we all need to grieve differently and I have tried living life as normally as possible but grief comes at unexpected times and you just have to give in to it when it happens
I hope things start to turn the corner for you financially and that you get a feeling of peace about what ever you decide about NZ.
I can see what you mean about your insurance claim it is a biggy and I can understand how worried you have been about it. Hopefully it will be resolved in your favour.
Big hugs to you I have subscribed.

Hey Chev, just dropping by to send hugs and echo what Hypno said. Do what you can when you can, it is different for every one. some days it is a relief to be busy and at other times it is torture. More hugs and love Buffy xxxNevertheless she persisted.0

hey guys thanks very much for the good wishes. It is important to me that you are all here so to speak!
In other news. I think I sadi that I have mild arthritis in my spine. When I was over seeing my dad the first time, I started getting searing pain in my heels. It was weird I would walk around all morning, and then drive for a bit, go to get out of the car and be in agony for the first few steps. It seemed to be getting worse and the flights didn't help of course. So went to see the Dr who said that it was referred pain from my back, ie there was no problem with my heels. So I basically bullied her into giving me anti inflamatorys which had helped previously. Since then I have had another set of flights, and the problem just seems to be getting worse. Now it seems that my back is doing ok with the arthritis and the tablets, but the heels are much worse. Now they are painful from when I get up to when I go to bed. Ie they are painful when I walk on them, just sitting around is ok. So does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Some one here suggested I might have bruised the heal bones, but I am not sure how I would have done that. So if anyone does have any ideas that would be great to hear.
cheers

Have someone check over them by squeezing them and feeling for lumps and hotness. If they're not sensitive to being squeezed, then you haven't bruised them.
In that case, work up the back of the legs and see if they can feel anything unusual.
If nothing is found, you'll have to determine whether it's your weight on your heels causing the trouble, or the position of your legs/posture."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

My sister had something similar and was told it is arthritis. She was very sporty in her youth and seems to be paying for it in late 50's with feet, ankle, knee, hip, back problems.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

thanks guys
ZTD the doctor had a good feel when I initially went to see her. My weight hasn't changed. And as far as I feel I haven't changed my posture.
Maty I wondered about arthritis too...
I managed to do the walking school bus today, but really want it to sort itself out cos I want to gain thinness this year!I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

You might not notice your posture changing if you have been gradually compensating for the back pain. Are your ankles puffy?"Green pastures are before me,

I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
And as far as I feel I haven't changed my posture.
Start by standing bent over. The gradually straighten out until you're leaning over backwards - any twinges?
Do the same with your legs, have them forwards and slowly and gradually move them backwards. Again - any twinges?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
