    Sorry just read that thread.

Im not sure they will allow Br, as the house sale alone would cover A LOT of it, and you would have enough income to cover payments.

I think what the OP meant Lindsey is that he would include everything in his I&E and then work back to see what could be included, not about working less to avoid an IPA.

Also as it's not him petititioning for his own bankruptcy and whilst I too would like to earn as much as he does per month, I thought the aim of the board is not to judge but to try and help. (my opinion, for what it's worth :) ) ignore that last comment as there seems to have been a lot of helpful comments since then :)

"Divorce settlements are a strange area, prority is:

    CSA
    OR/BR
    Spousal Maintenance"

By Spousal maintance, do you mean a GF, or your ex wife(to-be?)

They will not allow you to "keep" a GF, she would have to support herself, or contribute.

If it is your ex, I didnt think you had to pay maintenance in this country once divorced?

Im just suprised, I never knew that if you got divorsed you could expect your ex to support you. I find it kinda strange that all, no wonder people dont get married any more!

I have known people that were very well off due to property. But once the divorce was done, 50% each etc, children get maintanace, the ex-wife went back to work as she didnt get a penny mainanance, so i thought this was te norm. I think i need to find a rich man quick!lol

Will the CSA not have to re-evaluate your support once you have become BR? Please let me know what the OR says I think this is really interresting!
