Spent most of the day out dealing with dads affairs, surprisingly I got a lot done but not all.

Have done a few more off the list but I plan to continue tomorrow with earnest. So will post what I have done tomorrow.:D

serena thanks for the info on veg in pots. The problem I have is most of my garden is patio or decking so I can only use pots. I assume it is out of the question looking at seeds this late in the season?

I'm still sowing veg/salad now. Lettuce will grow fine in pots, I expect spring onions would too. I've done carrots in pots - you could still sow these now too. Lots of places will be selling off tomato plants now. Give it a go with just a couple of pots. I brought some organic compost this week - arthur bowers especially for veg and I think they do one for veg/salad in pots.
