    Hi everyone and all newbies.
I have managed very little on the flying front, but i have been doing loads in the garden. DS1 managed to swallow half the zip of his school bag so of to the nurse at the GP's who said to go to the local hospital and they said to leave it and watch out for a sore tummy over the next few days and if he does have a sore tummy take him straight up to the main hospital. Hopefully it will pass but i main worry is that it's very sharp the way it broke off.

Hubby doing well and doc coming out tomorrow to hopefully discharge him.:j
My teeth are killing me today so painkillers and bed shortly, dentist tomorrow anyway so that should be fun.

    Pigpen Happy Anniversary.
    Bonsi Big Hugs.
Poohbear Well Done on the win.

DS2 very tired today so supper for all and away to bed and i'll try and get a few things done , then bed for me too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Evening all.

Bonsi - hugs again - I know how the military can close ranks when they want to. Have you tried getting in touch with any of the military welfare organisations who may be able to help - at least with the form filling and possibly some suggestions and negotiations?

I have some knowledge of SSAFA and they are a goodly, helpful, non-judgemental lot. They really would, I feel, be worth a call. Their website is here.

I also found this website doing a quick google search but have no first (or second, or third) hand knowledge of them. http://www.modoracle.com/index.html

Dusty – so sad about your neighbours – I’m sorry it bought back sad memories for you. One of the most difficult things to cope with about death is that life DOES continue on around you. But, I’ve also found it also rather comforting in a way as well. Because it means the world HASN’T stopped and you can, eventually, pick up the pieces and continue.
    Ash – ( ( (hugs) ) )

    Poohbear – well done!

    Happy anniversary Pigpen

G&B – Fresher’s week huh? I went to uni as a mature student and did a lot of fresher’s week. I must say the only really good thing about it was the booze – everyone looked so young and pimply and not at all fanciable!!!!!!

Lil-me – get thee hence to the doctor – if it’s been for weeks, it’s not normal....

Had a good day at work. The weather was kind so I got home to dry washing.

I ended up doing an unplanned HHG. It was bin day today and as I put the bins back, I remembered it's 'Green' bin day tomorrow. (Green bin is for garden waste). Nice Neighbour and I share a green bin (and the gardener) - the green bin lives at NiceN's. NiceN is on holiday this week. The green bin wasn't emptied on the last scheduled date so I phoned and whinged and it was finally emptied last Thursday - the day our gardener came.

I nipped next door to pull the green bin out onto the street to find it empty - it must have still been full by the time our gardener left last Thursday. So, I attacked some more mint in the garden and found enough other dross to almost fill it up again. If it ain't emptied tomorrow I will be having words with the Town Hall.

Mind you, I did get to wondering that as most of the detritus that falls in my garden comes from council owned trees the other side of the boundary - I wonder if I'm within my rights to instruct the gardener to toss it all back over the garden fence onto Council property as it came from there in the first place?

So, I'm now going to pour a G&T and catch the last of the sun in the garden before it goes behind the house next door. I will then make duck soup for dinner and finish the cushion cover I started last night.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Back from swimming and boys 2 and 3 (plus me fed).

Just going to put the 'green' bin out for tomorrow and then pick DS1 up from school cricket. Then bathtime for DS3 whilst I put the fresh linen on our bed.

Hope to still have the energy to get a couple more bits done tonight.

What a day. First time i've had chance to sit down and catch up. I've completely forgotten who needs hugs, congratulations etc etc.
Well I managed to clean the oven, DW and Wm today before the kids swimming/paddling pool was delivered. Being the good mother I am I decided to get it set up as the weather forecast for tomorrow is carp. So I get it all out and put it where DH says it has to go and get the water starting to fill it. DH comes out and decides that there is too much of a slope and it won't fill properly. Could of thought about that before I started. So I've had to empty the blinking thing and dry it out. This took me about 3 hours. Now I've got to move the swings and slide so the pool can go there. Guess where it is now - yes back in the box in the garage. He can do it when he gets back from China.
I've managed to do 2 loads of washing, some ironing, changed the kids beds, vacuumed downstairs and cooked dinner.
I have now collapsed on the sofa with a glass of wine and I am not moving again.
Not going to get much flying done tomorrow because I have to take DH to Heathrow and then go to post office to post ebay parcel.
    Have a good one.
