Davgirl - I hate paddling pools, all that time pumping them up, filling them up, kids go in for 10 minutes, grass gets in it and then you have to empty, dry and put them away.

DS3 in the bath, so soon his day will be done.

Lil_me - I agree with Soappie get to the GP to be on the safe side, I'm sure they'll do some bloods and hopefully get you sorted.

I am conditioned it feels really odd that all the beds have been changed and it is only Tuesday.

:rotfl: Dusty I loose track of everything if I do the bed sheets on the wrong day, anything else I can change/cope with, just not the bed sheets!!!

Dusty & soappie I am going to make an appointment tomorrow, it scaring me now as I am not usually like this at all, I'm sat here aching and falling asleep, I've switched this on to keep me awake, before that I was just keeping on my feet pottering about doing stuff but everywhere aches so couldn't keep doing it. It's been over a month I think now, since the last cold started, I haven't got the snots etc any more but the tiredness hasn't gone.

DavGirl what a pain that sounds, think I'd be waiting aswell. Enjoy that wine!

DPs on his way home anyway, second week in a row only a couple of people have turned up at the club so he's been back and got the money he owes someone now gone to drop him off then coming home. Once he's home and I've done his tea (will start it in a mo) I think I will end up back in bed, I just can't keep awake any longer than necessary :o I wouldn't mind if I'd not had an hour earlier when I dozed off and over 7 hours last night (3 more than usual)
One day I might be more organised...........

Unexpectedly got a day's supply today - at a school I haven't been to before - and it was great! I've added it to my select list of schools I really want to work in.

I've just managed to catch up with the list - I was way back on page three!

Hugs to suzieq and to bonsibabe.

Thank you for all the nice comments about the veg! Yes, they tasted great!
Electra - yes, you can grow vegetables in pots. I'd suggest a pot about 10" diameter as the miniumum size otherwise you'll never keep up with the watering. I can recommend salad leaves, carrots, herbs, tomatoes and chillies. If you look in a garden centre at the seed selection, you may find that they offer a selection especially for patio growing - Johnson's and Sutton do, I think. Try one of those.

Germish - well done on the result. Try ringing up about the allotment - reminding them you're serious never does any harm. Try also looking at other sites around your town, if there are any.

:hello:to heavenleigh, and congratulations on your daughter!

    :love:Happy Anniversary to pigpen!

I have done precious little flying, and am working tomorrow as well. I did a minor flit in the kitchen yesterday, and the most I've done in the livingroom is to pick up a book - and then read it. Taurus, I'm expecting you to agree with me that that counts! I'll do some major decluttering in a minute - I'll send the children to bed.:D That will immediately free up two sofas and a large area of floor space.

Yesterday was DS2's 14th birthday. He was at school of course, so quiet day, but we went out to a Sushi restarant in the evening. I'm rather in two minds as to whether I liked it or not! It's certainly different.

liL_me - that doesn't sound right. I should definitely go get it checked out, even if all they say is 'oh well. it's a virus, plenty of fluids and take paracetamol...'

    Hiya
Done the bare minimum to survive and get the children to school today. Feeling ghastly and more like poop than I did before, lol. Now DH has caught it too. Both children have had another allergy to suntan lotions / sun / something. Their faces have gone patchy and red and very scaley and are now starting to flake. This is the second time it's happened this year. Pretty sure it's not just sunburn as they are sensitive to the sun and we keep them in between 11 and 3 and re apply suntan lotion like it says on the bottle. Just been to the doctor who's recommened E45 suntan lotion - only costs £11.10 for the smallest bottle ever!!!!!! but if it works that will be worth it. Starting to panic about our holiday now but i've ordered some of the sun protection t-shirts which will help a bit. I'm rambling now so will shut up...hugs to all, hello to new people and i'll be back in a day or two when I feel more human xx
  • Mudbath,

My DS is similar with high sun - we find keeping his skin highly moisturised, then put sunscreen on and always a hat helps quite a lot.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Thanks Moam - we've bought our two new hats with really big brims. We've been using the cream they've been given from the doctor for excema but it's really stinging them. I've just been out and got them some aloe vera gel and the reddness went from the skin really quickly. Hoping that might help. Poor things! Thanks again.

    Night all xx

lil_me Glad you are going to make an appointment tomorrow. Will look tomorrow night when I come in to see how you have got on.

Mudbath Sorry to hear you are still not well. I hope you and DH feel better soon. I think the aloe vera gel will help quite a bit.

Parcel has arrived tonight! Luckily I can see who is at the back door before I answer it.

I'm in! I've been lurking notposting so far this week...

I'll be sticking to level one this week though for 2 reasons

    1. We go on holiday on Saturday and washing/packing takes priority

    2. I just found out I'm expecting and willprobably spend most of the week looking at baby websites!:o
