    Evening :hello:

Not been on since yesterday morning so I'm sorry if I've missed anybody's important news. Hugs, congratulations and :j :j as appropriate.

Had a great time with Mum yesterday, and very MSE too - we spent the afternoon bumming round the V&A (free), had a picnic (ham sandwiches and a bottle of wine) and went to the opera for £10 a ticket :D This morning we went to church and then out for a Wetherspoons beer and burger meal deal.

Since seeing Mum off at Paddington I have been to Sainsbury's to take advantage of their 20% off wine (ends today). Thanks to some other offers that were on, I managed to get 8 bottles of quite decent rose for £22.20!

Hungry now. Need to eat. Must be off!

    Love Rzl xx

Hi all, just would like to say:

Charlies mum, It must have been a very painfull day for you today, My Dad is no longer here but I'm lucky to still have my Mum. ((((hugs))))

Candygirl, What a lovely thing to do with the brick certificate. I Can understand how you feel. x

Mioliere, I really miss your posts, I hope you get better soon. Hugs and Snugs to you. x

Scuzz, I had almost the same thing happen years back, I didn't want to even look out of the window without wearing a hat. Could you not go to a pro hairdresser and ask them to make good out of your bad haircut. x

Celyn90, When I have loads left over from a leg of lamb I mince it and add minced onion, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic and 1 egg. squidge together and hey presto, Lamburgers. My lot love them.

Smokey, AnnieS, JackiO, Mrs.Mix, Candygirl & DDad, Haribo, AnnieB, Penpin, and Uncle Tom Cobbley and All. Sending love and smiles.

Just popping on extremely weary from the girls' party because I think it's now Monday where you are Aussie and your Sis is having her op today. If I'm right, I hope it all goes well and you don't have too worrying a time ahead.

The party was a roaring success, especially the cocktail bar and the Ice cream Parlour.:D The weather was fabulous and my OH and bestest friend were brilliant help.

Afterwards we went to the park and played with their new bats and balls and then scootered to the pier to watch the boats coming in. All in all a lovely end to a pretty horrible weekend and OH has just run me a bath and handed me a glass of vino. I know.... I did ask who he was and what he'd done with my husband. :D

Managed to get some washing down and have cleaned up tonight so that should make Monday morning a bit easier.

Kathy, I hope you feel back on form soon.
    Candygirl.. Your DD sounds lovely.

    Take care all

I have fallen off the wagon big time.... I lusted after junk food and spent far too much on meringues, cakes, & cheesecakes. Please please psyche me up and get me back into the OS family ! I was just starting to do well !
  • Sometimes it is nice to have someone else do the cooking/deciding. Perhaps you will find they don't taste as nice as your own baking so won't do it again

    I know the feeling!

I always find that making a batch of yummy flapjack helps to convince me that OS is the way to go. I've yet to buy anything yummier!!!!

Good luck climbing back on the wagon.

Just read the labels. Should be enough to put you off the bought stuff. Mind you I have yet to produce a cheesecake as cheap as Mr. S. so we just don't have it.

  • Just think that it's better to have those pennies in your pocket rather than handing them over to the supermarket. I haven't been OS long, but I don't think I'll ever buy flapjacks ever again (or hobnobs!).
