OS Daily Monday 16th June

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Monday16th June. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning everyone
the birdies are singing outside and it`s just light, it`s a bit too early to tell what the weather is going to be like yet but hopefully it will be nice.
Today i`m off to w**k and i am hoping that this week will speed by rather quickly as i`m wo*king for 4 long days then i have 5 days off:j

The bm has just beeped in the kitchen and i need to put the wm on and empty the dw before i have my shower, i`d better get a move on as i have to leave the house in an hour.

I`ll say good morning to you all and make a dash for the kitchen, i`ll pop back later when i`ve caught up with yesterdays thread and i have a nice cup of tea to keep me company.:D
Have a lovely day everyone.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Good morning Sunnyday and all who follow. It looks like a good start to the day here, too, but it's cold for June especially as we are near Midsummer's day!

I didn't post many (((hugs))) yesterday so (((hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin, Mrs Mix, Beth, Jayward, Beth, Candygirl's Dad and all in need of one.

    Churchmouse - :hello: :hello: :hello:

I've not really kept up with the thread due to this horrid bug I've got so if I've missed anyone's news I'm sorry.

Today's plan is to do just the essentials - the fact that this includes paperwork is irritating because it's the last thing I feel like doing! We have Spag Bol for dinner which is easy to do. I have a load for the WM but I am up to date with the ironing thankfully. My main ambition today is to get the chores done asap and try and chill out but that will be easier said than done!
Anyway, I think I'm going to have another cuppa and then have a shower so I'll see you all later.

Morning Sunnyday and Mioliere and those who follow.

Early start for me this morning, I've waved Mr Twit off back to Gateshead for the week, so I'm having a quick catch up on here.
Big confession time, I went and spent loads in M&S yesterday, they had a 'save 33%' offer on the ready meals, I picked up a couple of things on Saturday and when I scrutinised my receipt, the 2 for £4 offer on the Italian things had also kicked in. So, 2 of the Chicken Arrabiatas at £2.99 each had a third off and also £1 off so they worked out at £1 each

It's Miss Twit's 15th birthday today and she has school exams starting today, no special plans for later, but I think she is going to arrange a meal out with friends after exams finish.

Well, I must sort out the float for work and also the banking that needs to be done.

Hugs to those in need, Pen-Pin, Jayward, Beth, Candygirl, Smoky & GBroon.
Mioliere, hope this bug vanishes soon.
Hope Catowen and the new LO's are ok.

    Love to all The Twit.

    Morning everyone.

I missed yesterday as I did not finish work until 0330 the night before and have been pooped ever since. I left work yesterday afternoon, pulled up a lounger in the garden and fell asleep. Nice but a bit of a waste of weekend.

Work shortly. Only 2 packed lunches to sort out today which I have done. Lots to sort out today and a bit of a moan due to the working conditions over the weekend.

I am fortunate enough to have a full tank of fuel, so no worries there.

Well best get a shower and iron a shirt... Cheers

    Morning all
I've been awake since 4, by 6 I was ready to fall asleep again, but I got up instead as the alarm was due to go off at 6:30.
Blue skies here at the moment, but rain is forecast for later. I made some sardine pate yesterday, so I'll use it in my packup, hubby's not working today so only mine to make.
WM & DW are both on, hubby will empty them later. I better go & sort out tea for tonight, BIL is back tonight after a weekend away with his son.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Morning

Lovely morning here, but don't know how warm it is until I got outside - if it's anything like yesterday morning, I will need my coat on :o

Very productive weekend here, DH built two raised beds in the garden, and I now have lots of lovely veg growing - just hope the slugs don't use us as their local takeaway :D

Looking after DGD today, so lots of fun and cuddles.

An Asda Aberdeen Angus cottage pie for dinner - I know, I should make my own, but it was a whoopsie, so not that bad ;)

Have a good day everyone x

    Good Morning All

    Many Happy Returns Whatatwit

Didnt get on here at all weekend so (((hugs))) to anyone who needs one, will try and catch up later.

Have absolutly loads to do today, had friends round unexpectedly Sat and out all day yesterday at a Football tournemant. Also spent a lot of money at the weekend so really must get back on the os wagon this week.

Will be in the office all day long today, OH will do the washing and housework this morning. So hopefully by the end of the day will have a clear office but probably an ironing mountain.

Having roast chicken for dinner as we ate a lot of unhealthly stuff at the weekend.

Oh well best get on, have a great day.

    Morning all,

Another bright and sunny day here, cold though, hope it warms up a bit later.

We had a nice day yesterday at the country fair, lots of stalls etc, dog obediance, there were dogs everywhere it was heaven :D . Lots of food demonstrations stalls etc. Birds of prey, the food was so expensive though, will take a picnic next year.

No work today, will do a wizz around with the housework, and I an hoping to go into town later, I desperatly need some tops, I keep buying cheap ones form matalan etc, bit find they shrink too much after the first wash, and are then uncomfortable, so think I will invest in some decent ones M + S I think.

Chicken legs mash and salad for tea, so nice and easy, i think i may have one wash to put on. And I need to do an internet shop.

Kathy I do hope you start to feel better soon.

Hugs to smoky, pen pin, jayward, candy xx

    Happy Birthday Miss Twit :j

Haribo, hope the party went off ok, did you open a bottle last night :D

Aussie, hope all goes well with you dear sis xx
    Have good days all xx
