Hello all
Not much going on here.
Went to Dr's on Friday about my back pain (i think its my back) he wasnt much help at all, sorting out an appointment with a specialist physio but wouldnt give me any other (stronger) pain killers, I'm not sleeping because i cannot get comfy and so this plays havoc with my migraines ( in bed at 9pm friday with one)...maybe i expect to much from doctors.
Anyway :grouphug: to all in need
will catch up when I have a bit more go about me.

Jayward - I would go to the doctor's before Friday if I were you; that's another four days away, a long time to keep feeling like you do. (((Hugs))) to you.
Pink - perhaps you could ask to see a different doctor? You certainly don't expect too much from them. It is their job, after all. (((Hugs))) to you, too.
Well, it's OK for me to lecture - I'm actually starting to feel a lot better despite DH nagging me to go to see the doctor. I think we're all the same - doctors can make you feel like they're doing you a favour just by looking at you. Mine are pretty good but I still hate the rigmarole of making the appointment and sitting in the waiting room.
I have just taken a walk up to the local post office but this morning it was the last thing I felt like doing. I had even asked DH to pick up some milk; of course, he had forgotten so I had to go out anyway. I also turned out the pantry and the freezer - both of which had been getting on my nerves for ages. I feel quite tired now so will have a sit down for an hour or two.
DS2 is coming round for dinner tonight - and every night this week, so he informed us yesterday! His bride-to-be is away - she's a teacher and has gone on a school trip to Barcelona (which sounds great but I would not have liked the 24 hour coach jouney to get there!) so he's 'home alone' until Friday. I don't mind feeding him - in fact, I'm glad to cos he's my baby! He may be 6'4" and 26 years old but he's still my baby!
Anyway, I'm truly back in 'mioliering' mode now so I'm going to make myself a cuppa.
See you later,

Good afternoon!
Hope all are well and enjoying the sunshine that still seems to be going strong here, despite the constantly gloomy forecasts! Hugs to all in want and need, and I hope things improve soon.
Have been cleaning today, as usual on a Monday. Friend dropped round for coffee which was lovely, caught up on lots of gossip. Went to Somerfield to pick up some bits for a friend only to find that the silly till wouldn't accept my card, nearly passed out, oh and I both got paid on Friday, surely we couldn't have spent it already! Trotted out to cashpoint in foyer, and money was happily dispensed, and very happily I checked the balance and saw that there were our wages in the account, what a relief - think the people in the queue were relieved as well when i walked back in lol!
Went out on Saturday afternoon with a friend and their sister, she was attacked last week so I thought she was very brave coming out, I'm sure I would be sitting at home in terror if it had happened to me, so I really admire her.
Not done much else really, taken chicken of the carcasses from lunch yesterday and frozen so it can be made into pies or curry at some future date. Finally got my gas working properly again, so will be able to use the hob tonight to make mashed potatoes to go with dinner, chicken in breadcrumbs, at this rate the children will all be clucking, best defrost the pork for tomorrow I think before there's a rebellion.
Best go get chopping these potatoes now, got to get ready for work tonight as well and no idea where any uniform is, ah well!
Hope you all enjoy your evening. xGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Happy birthday to Miss Twit.
Mioliere - obvious those tabs and the spray gone to your head! Glad you seem brighter.
I will reiterate what twink has just said - get yourselves to the doctor sooner than later!
Twink - busy day for you. I have seen the forecast for this week so won't be out garden watering tonight!
Aussie - glad to hear things seem to have gone OK for your sis. Bet you are glad it is all over now.
Heard from DH again today from Aussieland. He has returned from a week's walkabout and I have to e-mail DGSs to say GD saw roos with babies in their pouches (no mention of crocs!). He then sets off on Thursday for the final part of the trip travelling from Cairns to Darwin in just over a week before their flight home (arriving here 30th June). Seems he is having a fantastic trip.
Work quite busy today and unfortunately a few office politics which have to be dealt with!
Love and hugs to you all

PS was in Somerfield tonight and managed to get two packs of chicken legs reduced to 62p a pack. That will do DH and I at least 4 meals (I roll them in Chinese 5 spice before cooking in a hot oven!). Don't know about you but I am finding that it is increasingly hard to get good bargains with the yellow stickers. Sometimes the reductions are so small it is not worth bothering about!0 -
Hello all :hello:
Glad your Sis is through the op safely Aussie. x
Happy Birthday Miss Twit (though I'm not sure you deserve your mother's title).
Candygirl... Take it easy hon. You're bound to be worried, I can't imagine what you're going through with your Dad but try to find a way to get more sleep. xxx
Late getting on today as I gave in to temptation and spent all day in the garden. Sowed some cauli and swede seedls to keep the cabbages, brocolli and onions company in the winter in the veg patch.
Also weeded all my borders and tidied up the deck after the party.
We're off on holiday a week tommorrow so I want to wind the freezer down a bit. While struggling with the contents I thought I may as well defrost it so have spent the last couple of hours doing that. There is enough there to feed us well all week and should just be able to get by with buying milk and fruit and veg this week and I stocked up on coffee and tins at the beginning of the month.
Tea is a hotchpotch with the girls having tuna pasta, me having spag bol and OH getting fish and chips as there was a lone battered cod lurking at the bottom of the freezer.
May do some ironing in front of the telly tonight and have put the suitcases out so will fill them as I iron. The weather has been so good that we have all been wearing our holiday clothes so it's not just a case of packing straight from the wardrobes.
Will also send OH up to the loft so search for some missing camping stuff from last year. (steady Grannybroon
)
Have a good evening all

well, afternoon all - it's cup of tea o'clock and i survived the day!!!:j
two bonuses today - my friend brought me a big piece of cod to work-she didn't want paying for it - at least two meals from that! and tomorrow i'm interviewing and apparently we get lunch provided, so no packed lunch, in fact double bonus because that equals 10 extra minutes in bed in the morning!:D
how fabulous is that??????

Oh Oh Haribo
I am having withdrawal symptoms with DH away. Don't give me ideas! Methinks you are too far away for me to pop over to help your OH up that loft!
Glad the girls' party went so well albeit tiring.
Where are you going on holiday?

We're off to France again.
I'll be sure to tell Mr Haribo that you can't make it over to [strike]accost, ravage and corrupt [/strike]help him in the loft. You'll probably hear his sobs of disappointment from the East coast.

Well, if I set off now, how long to get there! Can't have that sobbing! Hark, can I hear it?
Have a super holiday. Is it OK for you to take the girls out of school. It is a big no no this side of the country!
Take care and it looks like you have had a busy time lately. How is your sister? Well, I hope. I know she was great support to you last week with the loss you had!
Take care.
