Morning, Plan to collect the material as soon as shop opens and make the curtains for the twin bedroom, then the room will be finished.
DB1 in Spain is having a big party on Sat, outside caterers, live music the lot. He asked us over a couple of weeks ago but what with the state of the house to-let and trying to find new tennents we haven't been able to deceide whether we could make it or not. I hope we can get the paper work, rent sorted out in time so we can fly over on Thursday. DB1 has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer so really want to see him.
DB2 gets more results about his Melanoma on Tuesday. Hope to see him when we get back.
Having spaggetti Carbanara and salad for dinner, DH will have roast pork.
Fruit and yogurt for pud. BM and WM on, sunny day again so washing won't take long to dry.
Will try and see Dr. today, had my stitches out on Friday but the would has opened up and a bit worried about it getting infected.
Wishing you all a good day x0 -
Morning all
Not been around much lately due to pc problems so hope everyone is doing ok. (((hugs))) to anyone who needs them. Probably wont be around much for a while more what with the new baby coming, moving house etc so i'll just check in as and when i can
Been up since 4am, can't sleep with the pains in my back and hips
We went to see the consultant on Friday and have been given the date of the 26th for jellybean's arrival, 10 days - eek! Had to have a scan to check his growth as i'm very small but hes fine (and definitely a he!!).The new house is coming on well, should be moved in when he's a few weeks old hopefully.
O/S has gone out of the window a bit recently because my FM has flared up over the past few weeks and i haven't been able to do my normal things but i've been gradually batch cooking for the freezer and we're pretty well stocked now. Has cost me loads in getting the ingredients etc but should even itself out when we only have to buy fresh stuff for a good few weeks.
Anyway, going to get DD up and ready for school. It's my sister's 21st today so we're going round there for tea - no cooking!! Bliss!
Take care all

Morning everyone
Bright and sunny here but not very warm. Got some new pots for the front garden on Saturday and they are now full of plants.
Going to be a busy week of sortingthings out, we ordered a new bed yesterday, its a metal frame one and the one we have at the moment is a divan with 4 drawers, so am having to find a home for all the [strike]junk[/strike] important stuff we have been storing in there.
Also have an application form to fill in that makes war and peace look like a short story, think it could take all week as have to fill in 8 sections where I have to give examples of stuff I've done  no, I haven't applied to be a brain surgeon, its just an admin job.
Think it will be an easy meal tonight, probably sausages, mash, onion gravy and any veg I can find in the fridge.
Hope everyone has a good day xxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Good morning! Bright and sunny here :j I'm going to go running, tidy the kitchen, hoover round the house, and reward myself by having the afternoon in the garden.
DD has GCSE exams all week, so I've made her maple pancakes for breakfast, with apricot and banana smooties. We're having spinach and chick pea curry for tea, with HM chapatis and cucumber raitha.

HI all - if good wishes could cure a cold then the amount of them I have had on here would have done the trick! Thank you all so much - it really makes a difference.
Sunnyday - I used to get hayfever when I was a child apparently (I was allergic to feathers!) so I think there could well be a connection there. I have also just recently started getting eczema (sp?) for the first time ever and the two can be connected so you may well be on to something there! I have some Piriton tablets somewhere so I shall give them a go. Thanks for the suggestion - I hadn't thought of it!
Beth - I do hope you can find a way to go and visit your DB; hope the wound heals up without infection - please keep an eye on it.
Lilmisskitkat - good luck to you - not long now!
Well, I'd better go and do something; I'm moving quite slowly at the moment because I can't rustle up the energy to move at my usual pace! Will call back later. Hopeyou all have a good day and once again thanks for all your kind words.
