    evening all,

Kathy good to [STRIKE]hear[/STRIKE] see you are feeling better :D .

Went into town today and bought myself 11  new T shirts in M + S, I am fed up getting up in the morning and having nothing to put on, so treated my self, they have plain cotton fair trade t shirts for £4, so I got a few of them, and a few nicer tops, so very pleased.

Just had dinner, chicken legs salad and mash, yum.

Twink, glad the mamogram results were ok :T

Celyn, I cant see me feet either, and I have size 7 :rotfl:

    Evening all

Had to go to London to take my mum to hospital for a chest x ray, but got up there early to go and get a new visitor's parking permit that I need to park outside her flat. Red tape gone mad. You have to take an old permit with a utiltiy bill to the housing office, where they check them, give you a slip to go to the post office to pay for the permit then come back and give them the receipt as proof of payment where then then give you the said parking permit - what a lot of mucking about

Ordered my new fridge/freezer yesterday only to get up this morning to find that my 2 month old dishwasher was flashing up a fault and hadnt worked. So did all the washing up from yesterday this morning before I went out. Was explaining to my son what happened when we got home tonight, only to find it worked perfectly when I turned it on to show him

Glad to hear your sister's operation was successful Aussie.

Hope everyone has a good evening

    Evening everyone :hello:

    Happy birthday to Miss Twit

Pleased that your sister is on the mend Aussielass

    (((hugs))) to those in need.

Sorry I've been missing in action for the past couple of days. It's been pretty hectic and I spent most of yesterday working on "school" stuff. We had a moderator in today to check that our marking for the Year 2 SATs was ok and we weren't over generous. Luckily, she agreed with us and we're now happy........... until Ofsted come in.....

I've got loads of reports still to do, which will be a task in a minute. That will be whilst I watch "Mary Queen of Shops". I love that programme, but I'll have to avoid writing anything about it in any year 2 reports! :D

We had a lovely day on Saturday pottering around the East of England Show. James Tanner (celeb chef) was doing some demos, but DH and I went right off him when he was in health and safety overdrive. We'd seen James Martin a couple of years ago who was a) crude and b) downright hilarious, so we felt let down by James Tanner.

Yesterday evening, I helped in the box office at the town's cinema night. It was a really nice lady that I was with and she tipped me off about a book club that meet once a month. I've got to get the book and THEN actually read it!

    Right, reports to write!
