    Good Afternoon All.

Hope everyone is well. I had my first contact with the OR office this morning. Just a brief phone call at around 10.30 to confirm they have recieved all the paperwork from the courts regarding the BR.

They confirmed my accomodation situation, now being in private and asked me regarding the mortgage etc. I told them i was either looking at voluntary repo but that i wouldnt sign the paperwork that the NR had sent me or Eviction, explained i had an eviction notice for early July but seeing as i was no longer in the property or wanting to retain did i need to do anything further. He said that was my decision and could'nt comment as that was a different department in the reciever's office . He said for me just to keep up with what i was doing and no longer pay the mortgage as now living in private rented accomodation.

He then asked me regarding bank accounts as i'd listed 3, 2 of which i closed last year and my current barclays cash card account. i explained that i had my DD's and Salary in that account and that it was only a basic account with now credit or cheque books. He said that the OR office had no interest in the account and he would send a letter to Barclays to inform them of this so i can use it as usual. Phew, Glad about that!:D

He said they would send me a letter within the next couple of days with some paperwork for me to sign and check over. This paperwork would also have details and time of an interview if i needed to have one. He said it wasnt certain i would have an interview yet but the letter would explain it all.

The OR's are going to contact all creditors within the next 6 weeks and so if i get any letters or phone calls just quote the BR number and give OR details to the creditor.:D

On that note i had a letter from First Credit this morning regarding a debt for £61 only!! The letter was dated the date of the BR, so i wasnt sure how they had found me as i havent given my new adress to any creditors yet. I rang them to ask where they had got the address from incase they had gotten it from my online BR order, She said they had performed searches on me, ALL FOR £61!! and located me.

At that point i had great pleasure in giving her my BR order!!...That shut her up:rotfl: ..Those of you who read my posts regularily and have helped me will know that first credit have been the worst of all the people i have dealt with so far giving me hasselling phone calls - not even being there when they ring, letters chasing and chasing..and generally not being very nice to deal with..All this for a debt that was originally £111..and now stands at £61!!.

I am not in any denial over my level of debt but hate dealing with unco-operative companies etc so giving this particular company my order felt very nice indeed!!:D

Thats all so far for today. I'll hopefully have an update for you by the end of the week with regards to the OR interview.

    Dave.

Sounds good hairy you might just get away without the dreaded OR interview. The paperwork for you to sign is about nil tax code. Will wait for update when you get the letter.DX

Will keep our fingers crossed for you that you won't need an interview with the OR.

It must have been a great feeling telling the rep from First Credit where to go!

Keep posting on your thread won't you as it will be helpful to the many of us yet to do the dreaded deed.;)
