OR interview - I have Survived!!

"TWAS THE WEEKEND BEFORE BANKRUPTCY AND ALL AROUND THE HOUSE NOT A CREATURE WAS STIRRING, NOT EVEN A MOUSE"

Good morning all,

Thought i would just share my thoughts with you this morning. As you know monday is the day for me. i have been up early this morning, just couldnt sleep and been reading my original posts on here from way back in march!

i have listed those originals here for anyone reading this forum for the first time as i want to show how far i've come in terms of my decisions and life in general.

With an unbelievable amount of support and well wishes from anonymous people who dont even know you, its amazing. Thank you ALL.

Thanks go out to all the Gang who have been around since those original lowly days on the forums and have guided me in the right direction.

My original threads are here, you can see how low i was feeling during this difficult time:

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=805695
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=805487

Also here is the link i kind of hijacked regarding Debt And Depression (sorry bout that Angel :D )

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=814627

Reading these again has let me see how far i have come and how much can be acheieved in such a short space of time.

I hope they help others in the same situation.

i will post my I&E that i am submitting on the BR forms later today just to check i've got it all correct, i would hate to miss out on claiming something that im entitled to.

On a slightly lighter note i had some very weird dreams last night and this morning (Nothing like that before you start wondering :p ). looking back at old christmas parties and the old days pre debt, pre house and pre Ex GF...those were the days...lol the things i got upto makes even my toes curl!

but you're only young once so what the hell, it was fun at the time. Maybe my mind is trying to tell me either that those days have gone and haha OR maybe that this is where i can get back too...i'm hoping for the latter.

Now did someone say theres a kariokee machine at the BSC meet?? ROLL ON ROLL ON....LOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

See you later guys and thanks again for all advice and support in the past few months.

  • Hi ToonDave:j

Noticed your BR date in signature when you posted on 20p savers thread, and have been meaning to PM to wish you Good Luck for Monday.

Sorry I've no experience or knowledge of BR, but I'm sure you've had some sleepless nights trying to manage your debt. Although I dare say BR is not to be taken lightly either.

On a more positive note, Good Luck for Monday, the BR boards seemed to be filled with some of the most helpful people to be found on this forum.

Just been listening to "Today" on Radio 4 - piece about how the UK may have lost is collective sense of community - only been here a short while - but if anything disproves that belief, this forum does - BIG time!!!

Just read most of your links, Dave - they (and others) demonstrate that totally - take it easy on Monday!

Thanks MF.. i think the online community is something else indeed. All the support you get from guys (and gals) that most likely you'll never have the pleasure of meeting and paying back their kindness is something to behold.

Also thank you for taking tht time to read the links and for posting. We can all just think 'well i've read that and got the answers i need' and then do nothing to help others back, which would be such an injustice to all that help and offer their advice and time for free.

    Dave.

    Hiya Dave

Well done for making it this far and Good Luck for Monday, I know coming from the North side you'll need that extra bit of encouragement :rotfl::p :rotfl:

Seriously though, have just read all your other threads and you've made some really hard decisions and changes in your life in such a short space of time and have a lot to be proud of.

Monday will be fine, the waiting , apprehension and fear of the unknown are the hardest parts. If you can treat yourself to a bottle of Cherry Corky's on Monday to relax with once it's all over ;)
