Hiya Dave
Well done for making it this far and Good Luck for Monday, I know coming from the North side you'll need that extra bit of encouragement :rotfl::p :rotfl:
Seriously though, have just read all your other threads and you've made some really hard decisions and changes in your life in such a short space of time and have a lot to be proud of.
Monday will be fine, the waiting , apprehension and fear of the unknown are the hardest parts. If you can treat yourself to a bottle of Cherry Corky's on Monday to relax with once it's all over
Red x
PS Bet you're gutted you wont get the chance to enlighten us with your rendition of Angels :rotfl:
Thanks Red. I'm getting more and more nervous for monday now, got the cash out the bank and a bit more just incase cant access it until pay day.
As you have red my post's you'll know how much my attitude has changed and how much clearer i am seeing things now.
i thank one and all for everypiece of advice and time they have given up for little ole me!;)
Also i guess i'll have to do my robbie rendition in the car with you on the way down... *sings* And through it all she offers me protection a lot of love and affection.......Im loving ANGELS instead.....lmao:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Now where is that corky's bottle when i need it.

Dear Toon,
Just to say that I was made bankrupt on Wednesday last and it was all fine. The office took my papers a 10 am checked them, I paid the money, swore on the bible. They took me up to wait in the court area - there are 12 courts and people buzzing around announcements, and lots waiting. Very busy. I was called quite quickly and went into a small court room, very nice judge, who apologised that for keeping me waiting as he had to read all of it - bless him. My petition goes to about 40 pages - lots of complications.
He asked me a couple of questions - when I had moved out of my property, and how I had such high limits on my credit cards.
The reason for the latter was that they were set up when I was in a well paid but stressful job and that because I paid everything on time (until last couple of months) they just kept upping the limit. I had used the cash on the credit cards to keep paying the bills and accounts. He was obviously satisfied and said something about this being standard bankruptcy, signed the form, and asked me to take to the office. That was 10.55 am.
The office typed up a form for me whilst I went off to the cafe. Then I spoke to the OR office, said they were there to help, asked if my car was insured etc, asked for clarification about my property and my small home businesses which are closed and said the OR would ring me when they had looked at the papers.
The OR rang me at home yesterday, again very nice, listed the things he wanted - they were sending a letter but there is a lot and he thought I might want to get started on this straight away. Said it would be a bit intense for a couple of weeks. I am to deliver some stock and the paperwork to them the week after next and they will ring me on 27th for the detailed interview.
So lots of luck for Monday, am sure everyone will be nice, which helps a lot, and all the very best

Gettinghopeful,
thank you for that, helped a lot reading. im glad all went well for you and i know it will all go well for me too.
I am hoping i can get alot of whats needed sorted next week as im off work on holiday for the full week. I have nothing to hide with the OR or judge. I have tried to pay back what i could when i could since that LBM over a year ago but not with as much success as i would have liked.
Good luck too on the 27th.

Hi Dave,
You'll be absolutely fine. Sounds as if you are doing rather better than me as I could never find any way of paying anything off. Am sure Monday will come as an enormous relief. I too had nightmares before but I couldn't make any sense of them!
All the very best.
