OR interview - I have Survived!!

:DGood morning all.

Just thought i would update you all as i go along.
I've had my letter from the OR office and yes i have to have a telephone interview on 27th June..so a week on friday!!...argh...more stress im sure between now and then...:eek:

I have to complete some paper work and i think send some docs back to them. I havent read it all yet but will do a bit later and ensure i have everything i need..i've nothing to hide but just a bit scary again :eek:

At least they have provided SAE and extra copies incase i have more to send..Nice OR office .

i'll post any further questions and queries as i (and i will) have them!

On a seperate note, in the post today along with the OR stuff was a letter from the 'BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION FUND' for home owners etc to stop house repo's..it says that there service is to ensure that all creditors are paid and that the bankruptcy is annulled .

Is this just a spam letter or does anyone know about this organisation? i am NOT considering the offer although it does say they will apply to the courts to cancel the Bankruptcy. Its a free no win no fee service (??), but how/where can they get their fees from??

Sounded a bit fishy to me and so just wanted to let you know for advice and info for others.

Also its a bit annoying that these companies again are praying on those who have financial difficulties as i know they can subsribe to the insolvnecy service and get an updated daily download of new bankrupts!!

My name now appears which is a but strange to see so i guess i'll be expecting alot of this CRAP through the post in the coming weeks.:mad:

if it comes in a SAE (the junk mail) wait til you have two of em tear up one and put it in the others SAE and do the same for the other one and post it back, give em summat to do!!!!

Thanks shadow..unfortunately they have included nothing with the letter, just a leaflet on their service..

Sounded a bit iffy when i read it about getting it annulled and cancelled..those points are highlighted too to make the point a bit more clearer on their letter.

Hmmm...i'll see if those who have gone BR have had similar letters..may be a proper offer but unsure!

I think I read something about these the other day on the forums, the general advice was to bin them and ignore it, lets face it they aint a charity they are trying to make money out of you, thats the only thing there interested in. Bin it and forget about it.

Its junk... they are vultures who prey on vulnerable people who have gone BR.. just bin it unless you can think of a more novel way to dispose of it

Well as a true money saver i could use it as loo roll etc...although it isnt 2ply or soft...but i'm a hard northerner so i'll risk it!:D

Do you think i should put it in the pack to send back to the OR office or do you think its not worth it??

Don't bother sending it to the OR they won't be interested and you'll just be wasting their time with unnecessary paperwork!

If you get any more (and get prepaid envelopes) then you could swap them all round and send them back to the different companies (someone suggested that on here ) .. just to waste there post fee!

Shame you have to have an OR interview after all, but I'm sure you will cope admirably given all you've gone through already!

Ignore the vultures promising the earth (re: reversing BR) sick barstewards preying on the vulnerable.

Best of luck to you Dave for the 27th, will keep an eye out for when you post on your thread how the interview went!!
