Ooh, thats a shame mary that you couldn't get to see the 'How to make' scrapbook tutorials, I plan to make some (actually I'm getting the book ), so I'll put my finished efforts up on here to show you. Now, where can I get gardening catalogues from...? :think:

I'm thinking of trying out the cereal box scrapbook first - got my Special K box at the ready - I will use the instructions on that webpage and maybe try a step by step photo tutorial for you - as you can't see it. Not this weekend tho' I've got my son's 7th birthday on Saturday and he's got friend's coming for a sleepover! :eek: Need to tidy up my son's bedroom before the onslaught - can't get anyone in there at the moment. :rotfl:

I may try the gardening one if I can find some gardening catalogues, I'm not into gardening myself but my mother-in-law is so I may do one for her. The instructions say 'paint over the writing' though, so she might get confused and want to know what it said! :rotfl:

Mary isn't there anywhere on that link that says ' if you cannot see the pictures please click here'? Its usually up in the blue bar above the white boxes. And so sorry if I am being insulting to your knowledge of technology.

I have recently got into Scrapbooking and bought some Scrapbooking software to organise pics etc. For me, it really helped me get into it so I'd recommend it to anyone!

qwiksave - be interesting to see how the cereal box turns out............I tried to make a scrapbook cover this morning with two pieces of card with holes punched through and tied them together with ribbon...........didn't work Think I'd have to get elasticated ribbon for it to open and shut properly.................gave up in the end.

Mary you can buy the rings to keep the pages together. They look like key rings and I think they can be bought from most craft shops. Then you can tie your ribbons onto them for decoration.

Might have a go at doing one for each of the granchildren........don't want to put photos in it though.....they've got albums and stuff already. Maybe grandchildren quotes or, as they're teenagers...........maybe that would be better with some 'groovy' images.

I've made one of the 'Gift Bag Scrapbooks' with 20 coloured pages inside from that book I showed you earlier 'The Scrapbooker's Idea Book'.

Made from one of those gift bags you can get quite cheaply from £1 shops and local newsagents. (Mine cost £1.25)
