  • Rainmac - it took me ages - but that's because I'm useless. Its just the construction that took a while. A lot of people sew their bags together it seems a much easier way of doing it than mine. If you don't sew them then you need to punch holes, but if you're just using a standard hole punch its nearly impossible because the bags are so thick. I bought the ones I used here from carolinezcraftz, they do seem hard to source though. There are normally a few for sale on ebay.

    rainmac - or anyone ? I've got some garden quotes for foster daughters scrapbook but not sure what paper to print them out on.......I want them to look 'aged' like rainmacs Dads and the papers I've used are all rust/green/cream...............any ideas ?

    mary - I used straight forward white copier paper, tore the quote off and then added brown ink round the edges and tapped onto the paper a bit. How about trying tea or coffee to age the paper, supposed to work a treat?

    rainmac - thanks. I know coffee or tea is supposed to work -maybe I didn't have mine strong enough..............:rotfl: Well, I was using OH's leftover from the morning cuppa.
    I'll give it another go..............but maybe not till after the weekend now.
    I'm off tomorrow for Mums funeral Friday -coming back on Saturday sometime.
    Going down again March 11th when the furniture gets collected so might have the chance then to go to Colemans shop............and Poundland and all those other shops we don't have :j
