rainmac - thanks. I'll send OH down for it on Monday - well they've forecast snow so I'll take no chances but he'll not last without the Daily Paper.........lol And free stickers !!!:T
Must admit I prefer your 'quotes' version for my boys and foster daughter than putting photos in. They already have the same photos anyway.
Oh, have you tried ageing paper with strong coffee ? My son always used that at art college - said it worked better than tea which was what he'd been taught at school.
I used to age reproduction advertising posters with dark oak wood stain - sort of wipe on-wipe off , just enough to tint it but not take the colour off. I think there's all sorts of methods. Case of which you feel happiest with.
How do you age paper with coffee, please tell me, sounds like fun:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac I ordered some chipboard mini albums from craftwork cards and think I may do something similar to yours for mothers day. I think it is a nice idea to use quotes as it makes a change from photos.
Oohh, what did you order? I'm going to do another for Mother's Day, think it's a nice pressie, I'd love one anyway:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac - you make extra strong mug of coffee, black, leave it to go cold and then dab it on...........lol:rotfl:Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I ordered door hangers, chipboard mini albums, exploding card/box things, velum pockets (I know I should make my own but they were only 25p!!). Can't wait for it all to arrive and I can make more door hangers and try an exploding card!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

rainmac - even easier if OH drinks strong black coffee in the morning and always leaves some to go cold..............lol

Wow there are some fantastic pages on here well done to you all!
I am struggling with ideas for FIL's birthday (end of may) we have bought him some files (not nail files but proper files) and that is it. I was thinking of maybe trying to put together a scrapbook for him, he is a photo fantaic and will quite happily go out and take thousands of pictures in very little time. My MIL has said she will help me to steal the photos without him knowing, and I can also speak to his sister and see if she has photos which I could scan and print. I need to figure out if someone has a wedding photo of his mum and dad cause I wanted to have something like this at the start!
Sooo many ideas in my head but just don't know if/when to start!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
